A New Demigod

Chapter Twenty-Two

(Leo's POV)

I saw how Jason and Rocky were. They were actually a good couple. I hate to admit it. I guess it's just the brother instinct. I don't want Rocky heartbroken or hurt, but I knew Jason wouldn't do that to her.
We landed next to a hotel, it was cold, and I don't mean a little chill. I mean it was like we landed in a meat locker. I heard chattering and looked back, Rocky was shivering like mad.
Jason wrapped his jacket around her and took her off of Festus's back. I jumped off and promised Festus I would look at his circuits later. We heard footsteps and saw the ugliest people ever. But I think they were demigods.
One was wearing hockey gear and the other was like one of those disco-hippies. The disco guy looked at us, "Restricted area. No landing unless you have permission."
Rocky looked at them, "But we have to see Lord Boreas." She said, batting her eyes. The disco demigod smiled, "Okay. As you wish. My name is Zetus. My brother is Cal." He winked and when he turned around, Rocky rolled her eyes.
Jason looked at her, stunned, "What did you do?" He asked. She smirked, "Charmspeak. I was always able to do that." I whistled, "Nice going, sis." She smiled and chuckled. A girl walked over to us, she was hot.
She had a cold look to her, but dang she was fine. She looked at Jason and Rocky, "Ah, Jason Grace. Roxanne Valdez. We've been expecting you." She said that coldly. "What about Leo Valdez?" I asked. She wrinkled her nose, "Fire and Ice don't suit well near each other." She looked at Festus.
"You can't bring that fire-breather into the building. He won't fit and he would melt the whole building." I looked at her, "No problem." I opened a hatch and pressed a button, then stepped back. Festus folded himself til he fit in a suitcase with wheels. Thank goodness Rocky installed the wheels. I wouldn't be able to carry six tons of celestial bronze.
She turned away colded, "Follow me. Leo, you shall stay out with my brothers." I raised an eyebrow, "Rocky is a child of fire too. Why can't she stay out as well?" I asked. The girl glared at me, "We don't want her in there, but my father has to see her as well. Follow me, you two."
The girl's fingers brushed Jason's cheek and I could've sworn Rocky's hand sparked. This isn't going to end pretty if that girl is trying to hit on Jason.

(Jason's POV)

We followed the girl into the ice fortress. I held Rocky's hand when I saw it spark when the girl touched her fingertips on my cheek. I felt a zap and we both pulled away, the girl looked at us, "Anything that causes heat won't be used here. My name is Khione, the Ice Goddess."
She turned away and Rocky made a sign that would've made either Leo burst into laughter, or have herself turned into ice. I noticed the look Leo had when Khione didn't let him in. He likes her. Oh great.
We stepped into a great hall with a man sitting on a ice throne. Khione walked to her father's side and stood there. We stopped and Rocky bowed first, I did as well until Boreas said we could rise.
He spoke in another language and Khione translated, "He said that---" "That he has been waiting for us." I looked at Rocky, stunned again. How many secrets does my girlfriend have???
Rocky spoke in the same language and Khione glared daggers. Rocky turned to me, "It's French. Hecate made me study it. Even though it was challenging." Boreas smiled and spoke in english this time, but with a thick french accent, "Yes, Hecate taught all her pupils the language of Love."
He looked at his daughter, "You may be dismissed. We don't need a translator anymore." Khione left, but to the other side of the room, where a ice statue was, but I realized there was someone frozen in there.
My eyes widdened, "Lord Boreas, why are there demigods frozen in the ice?" He chuckled, "They were on their quests, but had threatened me in my own court. So they became statues in my domain."
I gulped and Rocky looked at Boreas, "My lord, Where would we find Hera?" He grunted, "Hera? Well, she is a tricky one to locate. I would ask your boyfriend on this one. He knows where she is located. If you cannot guess, look for the Hunters Of Artemis, then Aeolus, he can help you more, but you must bring an offering."
Huh? I know? Rocky looked at me confused and I shrugged. Boreas looked at me and shook his head, "Ah yes. Hera is playing a risky game." He said, "You have amnesia. The worst kind. Hera took your memories." Well, it's not like I knew that already.
"My lord, how can Jason get his memories back?" Rocky asked, her eyes were full of curiousity. "My dear, you must free Hera from her prison. She's the one who has both of their memories." Percy and me. She has Percy's memories as well.
Rocky bowed, "Thank you, my lord. May we be dismissed and have permission to leave your court?" Boreas laughed, "I would keep you here as ice sculptures, but two gods paid me to let you two free. You may go."
We bowed and Khione escorted us back. When we were out of Boreas' sight, Khione pushed us against the wall, "You brats should have never come here."
