(Rocky's POV)

I kept running through the streets of New York after a little... Heh... Accident. I kind of set fire to a building and then I just ran away.

I hid in a alleyway where I usually stayed. I felt my pockets and took out several tools, metal and screws until I found my picture of my family. This was taken when I was six years old. There is my twin brother, Leo Valdez, and there is my mom, Esperanza. Leo and I both had curly dark brown hair, tan skin, a cocky grin and scarred bodies. The only differences were that I had multicolored eyes, gender, and hair length.

I looked at my mom's face and I wanted to cry. I'm not a wuss at all. My mother died when I was eight, and I didn't know if Leo survived.

All I remember was someone pushing me out of the garage and hearing a disembodied laugh and harsh voice, "Don't worry, Roxanne. Your time is coming." I remember I pounded on the door, trying to break it open. I heard Leo crying and Mom trying to reach him.

I shook my head, stay out of the past, Wisty. Best thing to do... I should've mentioned my full name. My full name is Roxanne Wisteria Valdez, or Rocky Wisty Valdez. As Leo liked calling me. Whatever. I put the picture away.

I heard footsteps as I pulled my black hood on and got up, hidden celestial dagger in my hand.

Oops. I forgot. Maybe I should've told you. I'm a demigod. Half God and Half Mortal. I knew my mom was a mortal or she wouldn't have... Died. I know I have deadly accuracy so I thought that maybe I was a child of Apollo. Oh yeah, once again I forgot to mention. All those greek gods you known of, Zeus, Hermes, Athena, Hera, etc? They are real. Those monsters? I shall not name them, but those are real too, trying to kill me. Like right now.

(???'s POV)

I watched the girl burn down the building and I saw her run. I knew she was a demigod so I had to follow. I saw her hide behind a alleyway and pull out a picture. I can tell it was old but that was all. I finally had the guts to unsheath my sword and jump down. She pulled her hood on and took out a celestial bronze dagger. Yep, she's a demigod.
Her eyes were covered but not her mouth, which she spoke, "Who are you?" She asked. I looked at her, "Why should I tell you?" I asked her. Her lips drew back in a snarl, "Cause you, my friend, are gonna regret messing with me." She said and she attacked.

I dodged most of her attacks and blocked half of them. She took out three ninja stars and threw them at me. I dodged and stared at her, "I'm only here to help!" I exclaimed. She laughed coldly, "I heard that before." She kept attacking and fighting until her hood fell off and I couldn't help but stare.

She had dark brown curly hair, multicolored eyes, scars on her face, and her eyes were filled with pain. Years of it, but she looked really pretty. I sheathed my weapon as she fell to her knees in physical pain. Her dagger hid back in it's spot and I grabbed her before she collapsed. She flinched when I helped her up and I looked in her eyes, she looks almost exactly like him... Could it be...
I looked at her, "Now will you tell me your name?" She nodded as I steadied her, "Roxanne... Valdez." I picked her up, bridal style, "My name is Jason, Jason Grace." She blacked out in my arms. No wonder she looked familiar, I just found my best friend's lost twin.
