No one's POV:

Tōteki paid for Midoriya's drink before leading him outside. Effortless Tōteki pulls Midoriya into a small shop opposite the diner. It was something like a thrift shop, it had old stuff but wasn't an antique store the name was "Somewhere in the middle." Make sense, Tōteki walked around looking for something, while Midoriya just stood by the door. He was zoned out ever since Tōteki let go of him in the diner.

Tōteki kept glancing over at Midoriya whenever he picked up something but would put it back down.

TI- "Perfect"

Tōteki was glowing when he found another one.

TI- "What do u think?

Tōteki didn't realize Midoriya wasn't paying attention he was too happy looking over what he picked out.

TI- "Do u like it?"

Midoriya didn't answer, he just stared ahead of him looking at a wall full of paintings. At least that's what Tōteki thought he was doing when he looked over at him. His eyes followed Midoriya's gaze.

TI- "Do u like those paintings?"

Midoriya still didn't answer.

TI- "Do u think it's an original? It looks really old"

He didn't even blink.

Tōteki looked at Midoriya, he waved his hand in front of him and got no reaction.

Tōteki's POV:

Did I say something wrong? He hasn't said anything to me and I keep trying to talk to him. Am I annoying him? I sighed before walking to the counter I pay for the things I picked out and leave. Again I held his hand dragging him around. First the arcade, then the sad story in the diner. This night is going terrible I didn't plan for things to go this badly. I checked my phone it was 8:45 pm. The whole point of me going to look for him was to apologize if I did something wrong and take him to the movies. But instead, he zoned out on me. Whatever he's dreaming about must be interesting.

TI- "I already have the tickets might as well go"

I walked into the movies got popcorn and went to look for my seat. Another five minutes go by and the movie starts. Here we go.

Midoriya's POV:

I wasn't thinking about anything. I just zoned out into a world of nothing. I was pulled back by the sound of laughing and the smell of popcorn. I let my eyes adjust, I was in a dark room and my chest felt tight. I looked around and saw Tōteki along with a bunch of other people in the room. Everyone else was laughing but he looked upset. I looked to the front of the room, there was a big screen showing a movie.

M- "H-hey"

Ew, my voice sounds disgusting, I need some water.

M- *Cough* *cough* "Tōteki?"

He slowly turned his over to me before taking his eyes off the screen and looking over at me, he eyed me up and down.

TI- "Hey, how u feeling"
M- "I'm okay, what are we watching"
TI- "Jungle something I don't remember"
M- "Okay"

I turn my attention back to the screen, I followed along for a while until I felt something. Tōteki placed the popcorn bucket in my lap, dusting his hands together. He leaned away from me on his arm. He must be upset I zoned out on him.

First I didn't answer his messages
Then I freak out at the arcade
The sob story at the diner
And now I just had to zone out
And now we are sitting in the movie and he's doesn't look happy

TI- "Let's go"
M- "Huh?"
TI- "The movie is over, let's go"

Tōteki got up first and walked out. He waited for me outside, leaning against the wall.

M- "I'm-"
TI- "Ready to go"
M- "What?"
TI- "Ur clearly not having fun, so let's head back"

Tōteki didn't turn around when Midoriya walked up behind him.

M- "What no I'm having fun!"

Well, that got his attention. He turned on his heel before checking his phone. He took a deep breath putting his phone back in his pocket.

TI- "No ur not, u don't have to spare my feelings and lie, tonight has been terrible. Look it's after 11 if we start walking now it should be 12:00 - 12:30 ish when we reach the dorms"

Tōteki looked away from me, which made me feel very small. I felt so out of place I started playing with my fingers. Fuck I feel like a child.

M- "I don't want to go back yet, believe it or not, but this is the most fun I've had in a long time. I got to go to the arcade, I had a milkshake, we went to the movies, yh I zoned out on you but I didn't mean to I just got lost in the moment. I did a lot of new things tonight so I was just processing everything. I'm sorry"
TI- "Now I feel stupid"
M- "Don't be I would feel the same way if I was in ur position........ So what are we going to do now?"
TI- "*sigh* Idk"

I playfully grabbed his hand leading him down the street. I have to be very honest, I had a lot of fun with him. I didn't lie when I said those things to him. I would do this all over again. He seemed a lot happier when I started pulling him around. We walked passed mannequins in windows copying their poses. There was a group of men playing music on the street. Tōteki, gently pulled me back to show me the bright lights and signs on the building for different movies, food, and music groups. An old woman who was closing her shop gave us flowers when we walked passed her.

The night started slow, got a bit rocky but ended with so much fun. We walked out of the major part of the city. It was a peaceful walk, our fingers were intertwined. When we got to a street light, Tōteki jumped out in front of me. With one hand in front of him.

TI- "May I have this dance?"
M- "Oh no, no, no"
TI- "What, come on down tell me ur shy now"
M- "I'm not good at dancing"
TI- "Hell no, come here"

He grabbed my waist pulling me close to him.

M- "Well ur very forward"
TI- "Only when ik what I want"
TI- "Did u have fun?"
M- "I already told u I did"
TI- "Ik, but I want u to say it again"
M- "Yes Tōteki I had a lot of fun"

A night I don't want to ever forget.
