🎇Chapter Nine🎇

The next morning, me and my friends were driving separately because we can't fit in one car, since there were nine of us. Brennen is in the driver's seat while Jake is in the passenger side holding hands. Talked about making plans what are we doing for a whole week and how much they were excited about the whole trip. Brennen makes a promise that he would be spending time with Jake alone but not only forcing on his business.

Meanwhile, since Brennen owns the cruise ship; Sam is so excited that Brennen let him play some games and drink non-alcoholics since he's overage but he sneakily texted me if I could make him one, just the same drink that I made him one from the New Years. But I told him if Brennen isn't somewhere and is way too occupied running a ship or spending a moment with Jake. Could prepare him one whenever the bartender is off duty or took off to the restroom.

I don't know about the others but I'm assuming Kevin with the girls for doing who knows what. Anyways... I didn't explain to Sam that I have some plans for just the two of us for a few days because I choose to surprise him. After all, he deserves treat very well. Regardless I'll let him decide whatever he prefers to do because it's his journey too. I think seven days is plenty for spending time with only Sam but some with our friends. So, I think our first little vacation will be great.

When we arrived at the cruise ship it looked so amazingly beautiful in person. I've been there a year ago, right after Brennen's workers finish it. He gave me a tour for some advice on the colors of the room, and everything. Honestly, it looks so amazing, and I'm so proud of him when he found a business that he loves. He did it on his own.

But of course, he couldn't take all of the credit because me and Jake design it for the deck looks, guest rooms, and everything. But we all pitched in for the color scheme; throwing some random ideas from Pinterest. But I haven't stayed there before, only on the tour that Brennen gave me. I was going to save up for my apartment and pay to stay here but Brennen decided to give us a suite for free, well we're family.

Of course, we can't tell the people that we have a free vacation because we're friends with the owner since we knew it wouldn't be fair. So, we have to blend in, just like the rest of the people. Enjoyment moment with all of us. Sam gasped when he saw Brennen's cruise ship for the very first time but he said, he never stayed on the ship before. But I have before when my parents and I decided to have a family vacation, right after they came back from the military.

The car is parked in the parking lot when the girls place their vehicle position right next to us. We got out of the car for uploading our car for our luggage and everything that we need. Brennen told us, he's getting our room keys for the third class. While we waiting on him; maybe I can talk to Sam about what are some things to do, just two of us or in one big group. Let me what he wants to do because it's his first experience on a cruise on the ocean.

Saw the girls and Kevin get out of the car for getting their luggage out of the trunk but no sign of Shawn- I mean Shane. Sometimes I wonder what happened to him. Did Sam tell his roommates about Shane giving him the look? Or he's not invited because Sam likes me more than him? Either way, at least me and Sam have some time for ourselves. No more drama.

"This is going to be the vacation EVER!!" Sam smiled widely as he bounced up and down. I chuckled because he looks like he's been so hyper than he usually does. Looks like he's going to bounce on the walls.

Tara walked up to us with her luggage and was rolling down on the ground while standing to next Sam. "Ok, Sammy. Who gave you coffee?" Tara folded her arms.

"Kat did!!"

"Katrina!!" Tara shouted as she glance at the blue hair girl's hiding spot which is beside the car when her head sneakily pops up. But Tara didn't see her. She starts walking around as she tried to look for Kat. Ironically, they were circling each other but Tara didn't find her but she still had her suspicions.

Finally, when Tara found her, she immediately chased her around through the parking lot. Some people might think that they're insane. I figured Kat and Tara would feel the same way. It's kinda similar to Brennen and I's friendship.

"Tara!!! I'm sorry!!" She giggled but she still avoided the small girl.

"You should be! Sam doesn't need coffee because he's energetic and he's very very annoying. You know that." Tara raised her eyebrows playfully as she's trying not to smile.

"I forgot!!" Kat giggled loudly as she smiled but whatever not she still trusted her by who knows what she does.

"Still want a girlfriend, bro?" I smiled, still looking at the girls goofing around in the parking lot. I had to hold Sam with my arm on his waist, so he would start calming down a little bit. Won't hurt himself by running around and accidentally tripping over something.

"I don't know, Colby. They seem like a lot of work but I don't want to be single forever." Kevin chuckled as he slowly shakes his head. "Hopefully I can meet someone at the cruise ship because I don't want to be 9th wheeling."

"If not. You might be stuck with Tara and Kat because I don't think they have boyfriends or something."

Kevin furrow his eyebrows as leaning against the car. He gave me a look because he thinks I grow a pair of heads and six arms. Ok, fair point...

"Good luck, buddy." I smiled silently laughing with a smile on my face.

Before Kevin could speak, Brennen finally comes back with a couple of room keys in his hand. Jake came back with him while he was holding Brennen's free hand. It's so amazing that they didn't care about what other people think because as long as they're in love.

"Alright, everyone!!" Brennen announced as everyone is paying attention to room arrangements. "We have to pair up in partners because only 5 rooms are available and the rest are completely booked."

"We make sure that our rooms are closer to each other," Jake said.

"Yup!!" Brennen smiled. "Amber, you're roommate is your girlfriend, Xepher. Kat is with Tara." He says their names while he's handing them out their room key. "Kevin, are you alright with going solo, bro?"

"Ohhh!! Absolutely." Kevin laughs because he doesn't want to be stuck with the girls. After all, they might have another playful fight. Brennen looked kinda confused but choose not to say anything.

"Ok, last but not least. Colby is with Sam." Handing me our key room.

Bastard.

Of course, I'm not surprised because Brennen is secretly fangirling, so he wants me and Sam to be together (more than friends) because I've been single very long time. I'm not complaining because I noticed that Sam is very excited about him and me going to be roommates, so we can have some quality time together.

Sam and I dropped off our stuff on the floor at our suite. It was very spacey because there was only one full bed, room for two couples. The frame is smoothly white but the bed spreading is a Tiffany Blue, which looks like an ocean theme. The wall behind the bed is smooth white but the rest of it is a bright color.

A couple of medium-sized paintings are hanging up on some walls. The private bathroom is in another room but it's very small because... well, it's a cruise ship. Jake did mostly decorate almost (all) the bedrooms. Since he's very good at coming up with ideas as much as he can. But, of course, I help him out for a little. Even I let him for bossing me around where the items are going.

"This place is so beautiful!!" Sam smiled widely as he admire the room and start exploring.

"Yeah! Jake did a pretty good job with decorating." I giggled as I checked out the room with him.

Haven't been here for quite a while because of how much busy we were. But it's worth it. Worth it, since I can spend time with the boy that I truly like and he makes me feel so... special. So glad that he came up to me last year and kiss me. So glad that I texted him for this year being my New Years' date and he wants me to see him again, rather than wait for another year.

It's worth it.

A little filler chapter about their journey is now begun. I'm so excited about writing about their trip because I have so many ideas. I'm hoping it turns out the way that I wanted it to.
