Wiping down the counters after a few people left, when everyone didn't bother to use a tiny napkin as a coaster for their drinks; left with a piled liquid and food crumbs. Have to make my section always clean, so people can enjoy clean service and don't have any bad reviews. Don't want to risk getting fired because this is the job that I enjoy and I love working with Amber.

Two girls were sitting down in my section as they looked at the menu for the drinks. I noticed those girls who happen are Sam's roommates. I learn their names at the club a few nights ago. There's a short girl name Tara, she has a dark hair tie-up in a high ponytail and she leaves two platinum blonde hair down each side of her temple.

Kat has blue hair, and hazel brown eyes and she has a big personality that kinda reminds me of Sam. She told me that she came to Mami ever since she graduated from high school, to pressure into music. She alrighty has a whole album name "Under My Skin". I cannot wait to hear her songs one day.

"Hey, girls. Can I get you anything?" I politely asked as I took out my notepad.

"I'll have Hawaiian Shooter," Tara said.

I wrote it down quickly and I glanced at the other girl beside Tara. "As for you Kat?"

"Tequila Sunrise sounds good!!" She giggled as she smiled widely, making me chuckle as I was waiting for her patiently. "Yeah! I might have that."

"Ok, coming right up." I smiled as I wrote down their orders before I can start making their drinks.

While I was making their drinks, the girls decided to make a conversation with me. I guess they want to learn most things about me since me and Sam are kinda seeing each other. They seem like pretty nice people but they seem a little protective of Sam because I think he's the youngest of most of them.

"Let me guess. You and Sam went to your place the other day and Sam forced you to watch Love, Simon." Tara smirk.

"If I tell you that he didn't. Would you surprise?" I asked while I poured her drink into a tall glass and gently placed it in front of her.

"Duh!! That boy is obsessed with that movie as I am obsessed with my dog." She said with some sass as she took a sip of her drink.

"Yeah, he asked me if we watch the movie and I told him that I haven't seen it," I replied as I grabbed a glass, and start making Kat's drink.

"Dude! You shouldn't tell him that because he starts flipping his shit out!" Tara laughed loudly. "Every single time we have a movie night, Sam has always forced us to watch that movie. I was like, 'Sam, I love you but let us take a break from that movie, and let's watch something new.' "

"That's a little mean, Tara!! I don't think Sammy wouldn't appreciate you when you talking about behind his back." Kat bumped into Tara, to make her chill out.

"Eh, he knows me." Tara shrugged. "If people talked about me behind my back and I just sit here like 'Damn, I got myself a fan club.' "

"Anyways," I said, handing Kat's drink in the Collins glass. "I like Sam. I think we hit it off very nicely, ever since this New Year. When we haven't a proper conversation-"

"I'm sorry, who the fuck said 'properly' nowadays?" Tara said in air quotes. "It sounds like an old lady with her tea sets. 'Hold you're pinky out properly' " Tara said with a fancy accent, playfully sticking out her pinky.

"Is she always like this?" I asked Kat as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Sadly." Kat giggled with a smile.

"As I was saying, me and Sam haven't a NORMAL..." Seeing Tara smirk when I change a different word. "conversation because I didn't have a chance to speak. I'm glad we get to know each other because he seems like a great guy."

Kat mumbles something before she took a sip of her drink I couldn't hear what she said because it was very inaudible. For a girl who has a similar personality as Sam, Kat seems like she's hiding something why are they overprotective of their roommate? Either way, it's none of my business but I kinda need to know why.

If anything happens to the blond boy, I'll never hurt him; Just like my ex hurt me. It's not my intention to hurt anyone whoever I adore or they don't deserve it. "I'm sorry?" I couldn't help but was wondering if anything was happening to the little blond boy.

"It's none of our business but..." Kat pauses. She seems a little bit hesitant whatever if she should or shouldn't have told me about whatever it is. "Shane and Sam did date back in High school, they were so happy together. They have been together for three years until Shane's parents died in a plane crash when they went away on a business trip."

"His aunt took him in. Let's just say he became cold toward Sammy. We can't go on the details because it's not our place to tell." Tara interrupts her before she could go any further.

"Wait, if Shane is cold towards him. How come they continue to hang out and hook up together?"

"I'm sorry, Colby," Tara spoke. "He will tell you whenever he's ready. I think we said too much."

"Understandable," I told them when I get back to work and make another drink for other customers.

Now I understand why they are kinda overprotective toward Sam. Because he's been hurt before and they don't want to see him break again. I told them about my past girlfriend who did kinda hurt me, and I would never hurt him because I care about this boy more than anything else. All I want is to see him happy and high-spirited
