🎆Chapter Ten🎆

Later in the day.

Sam has been feeling a little bit calming down after his malfunction in the coffee incident. Thanks, Kat. But she did learn her lesson because she kinda regrets giving him any caffeine. He alrighty had an energetic personality which doesn't need another boost of energy. I think, this time she will remember that never gave him any coffee again. But it doesn't stop him from having the best time of his life.

The ship has now left Mami as they sailing in the middle of the ocean; hopefully, it will stay warm enough because it's in the middle of January. We have no idea if we stay in a specific area if the weather is warm but we packed extra warm clothes, just in case it's getting cold. But if it's colder, we can be hanging out in our room and watch some movies (if the WiFi is working).

We are all currently at the pool, Kat and Tara are laying down on the lounge chairs for tanning. Amber and Xepher sit on the edge while talking about their plans if they want to do something together. Just two of them for spending time together alone. I mean... if you're a couple, you can spend some time with you're partner for one day because it's romantic. This is fine because I kinda have some surprise plans for my own with Sam.

As for Jake and Kevin. They're hanging out with me and Sam in the pool. While Brennen is at the meeting with all of the employees (except the captain), to see anything complaints that he should be known of. Jake decided to step back because he knew that Brennen is busy. He wants to make sure that his boyfriend is doing his own thing. We're talking about the other plans and what we should be doing as a group. Or if they want to do something on their own, I can up with some ideas.

Sam wants me to take him to a casino tomorrow, for making him my signature drink that he has from the New Year. Honestly, cannot wait because me and Sam can play a slot machine for winning some more money. Need some money for bills and my apartment. But he wants to do something just two of us since he wants some alone time with me. Not complaining at all which is I'm looking forward to it.

I did tell him that I had a surprise for him. His face lit up as he interrupted me with excitement and keep saying 'What is it' or 'Can you tell me some hints'. But of course, I didn't tell him anything or give him some hints, because I knew it will be ruined the surprise. His roommates know, they helped me to set it all up and I'm hoping he will love it.

Jake seems a little bit off since he seems sort of stressed. He's a little bit quiet than he usually is. Sometimes he can be warming up by talking to me about giving him some advice or any news that I can relate to. Have no idea what's going on but I'm kinda worried about him because he's my best friend and I hate seeing him like that. I maybe not knowing him all of my life, but I know him for four or five years and I have kinda seen the difference right now.

"Hey, Jake," I said calmly when he was sitting between me and Kevin. The blond boy with brown eyes start glancing at me once I called his name. "Is anything alright?"

"Y-yeah. I'm alright." He forces a smile but I honestly don't buy that because it doesn't seem like his real smile.

"Are you sure? You can tell me about anything whatever it's bothering you." I replied. "We're friends, Jake."

"Umm..." Jake bit his lip a little as he hesitated about whatever he should or shouldn't talk to me about because he doesn't want to be a burden. "I have a feeling that Brennen is hiding something from me."

"Like, what?"

"I don't know." He begins. "Kinda saw him talking to another guy which I didn't recognize him. The guy seems smiling and touchy with him which is kinda making me feel insecure."

"Jake," Kevin said. "I know Brennen for my whole life. He may be a handful full of pieces of shit and kinda getting on our nerves..." He stops when I gave him a look because I knew it wouldn't help the situation.
