Chapter 3:Do I know you

Jessica POV

Mess Hall

Ugh...I still feel horrible for what happened yesterday. I wonder if the doctor's mad at me? Vanilla, Franka, Liskarm have been asking me nonstop about the whole ordeal...sigh..I just need to get my food and think about how I can make it up to the Doctor.

A few minutes later...

Phew...I managed to get some food after being stuck in that long line. Alright, I managed to find an empty table. Alright!

"Ah Jessica. There you are!" said Vanilla

"GAH!" I yelled after Vanilla made herself known

I then noticed Liskarm and Franka standing behind Vanilla. I sadly knew why they were here and after they sat down, they began asking me their questions.

"Okay Jessica, what's the doctor like?" asked Franka before taking a sip from her coffee mug

"Is the doctor a guy or chick?" asked Liskarm before munching on her apple

"Can we stop with these questions please? Jessica is gonna break if you keep this up." said Vanilla before she began eating her breakfast

"I promise...I'll tell you girls later. But, I need to make sure that the doctor isn't mad at me." I said before eating my breakfast

A few minutes later....

Okay, I managed to finish Instructor Dobberman's class today...phew she's so scary. Okay! I'd managed to make it to the Doctor's dorm...I hope that he isn't mad at me.... I began to knock on the door and hoped that the doctor was in. Then the door begins to open slightly and I see the Doctor's head poke through before screaming at me and slamming the door shut. I was surprised by his actions...but then I remember what Amiya told me.

"The Doktah is an introvert and well...doesn't handle meeting new people well... so please keep that in mind Jessica." said Amiya

I wati a few seconds before I knock on the door again. After a few seconds passed, I heard the Doctor's voice from the other side of the door.

"Ummm....sorry for slamming the door on you Jessica...." said Doctor

I was surprised by the doctor's shy response...I wonder if that's what I sound like?

"It's alright doctor. I'm sorry for knocking you unconscious yesterday. I hope that you're not mad at me." I said

Doctor POV

Well....I certainly didn't expect someone else to visit me today... I managed to convince Amiya to deliver any important documents, forums, and etc. Even though Amiya wanted me to see my office...I wasn't ready yet and I spent my entire morning finishing up all the documents May delivered here. And just before I decide to head out, I hear a knock on my door and I assume it was Amiya...but my assumption was way off. I didn't expect Jessica to show up at my door...since I thought she was mad at me for bumping into her and losing consciousness after an awkward introduction. After she explained why she was here, I was genuinely surprised.

"It's alright Jessica, I'm not mad at you. Honestly, I thought you were mad at me." I said

"Wait really? Why did you think I was mad at you?" asked Jessica

I then explained why I thought Jessica was mad at me and for a few minutes, we remained silent. After another few minutes passed, I decided to break the awkward silence.

"So...I gotta go take care of some stuff...so...bye." I said

"Yeah...I'm we cleared that up. I'll see you around Doktah." replied Jessica
