Irma Pince's words still playing in his head as he walked out from the office.
He can't believe that it was that easy for someone else to see his flaws. He knew he has flaws but he never thought that anyone would figure him out that fast. Did he really put his guard down around the witch because he trusted Headmistress and his uncle that much?
Maybe he should've been more careful. He need to know that, even if his uncle trust these group of people, doesn't mean that he can let his guard down. Alex guessed that he should be thanking Mdm Pince for pointing that out for him. It was definitely careless of him. Letting out a huge sighs, he shut his eyes and let his mind re-focus back on the case in hand.
Now that he have the information he needs from the headmistress, he must worked fast in order to identify the killer on the loose. Looking around the almost empty library, he finally saw a place by the corner of the library, near the tall window. It was secluded, a perfect place for someone who prefer quiet time or-- couples, for some snogging session.
Placing his bag on the chair next to him, Alex took out the files that contained information of students and professors that currently inside Hogwarts. Then he took out a few parchments and start writing the title on top of the parchments.
HOGWARTIANS | NON-HOGWARTIANS
He stares at the first page of the files on some random first year, grinning excitedly for his portfolio. Alex smiles at the pictures.
It reminds him of his own excitement during his First Year entering Moxarths Academy. The way his uncle kept on popping up in almost all of his classes at every chances he gets until Principal Julia had to ban him from entering the school ground, except for her office.
It was an absolute experience for him, growing up with his uncle. He often wonder how his life would turn out if both his parents are still with him? Would he still be an aspiring detective as he is right now? Or perhaps, something like-- well, an aspiring professor maybe?
Alex shook his head as he stifle a laughter at his own thought and proceed on his tasks in hand.

Stretching his arms up, he let out a huge yawn.
He finally done categorising all the students accordingly to their blood status, traits and academic performance, in which has bring the number of possible victims to 10 witches.
Ruffling his hair, slightly feeling distressed, the young veela continues on staring at his own notes, thinking of ways for him to make the number decreased into six--
SIX.
VICTIMS.
Something clicked in his head that he quickly dug his bag for his notebook. Flipping the pages fast, he finally stopped at one particular page where he jotted down the names of the previous victims from the most recent case;
Chantel Keesler, Angelica Huo, Margaret Wilson, Enma Xavier, Imelda Salvador--
No. No, no way. Alex go through his notes once more.
Chantel Keesler, one. Angelica Huo, two. Margaret Wilson, three. Enma Xavier, four and Imelda Salvador...five--
Five names, means five victims. But isn't there suppose to be six of them all together? Or did he just imagining the numbers? Like, it's better if the numbers are lower but-- No, no, there must be something else. Something that he might have missed.
With that in his thought, Alex threw all his things into his bag and decided to ask his uncle for confirmation.

"--No. And I am veryyy sorry because Mr Evcans really unavailable for the time being. He's currently in an important meeting with the Aurors,"
