Walking side by side with Hermione really brought attention to the two of them. Eyes were looking, lips are talking and mind are assuming.

Alex couldn't help but to scoff lightly at that. The mechanism of human behaviour is nothing special but rather mundane if we think about it in a perspective. Sometimes, they're too-- predictable. Magic or not, human are human after all. That what's make things about psychos and serial killer interesting. They're unpredictable.

Choosing their victims based on things that's important for them, in a twisted, cruel way. Sighs.

"Sorry, am I boring you?"

Alex startled, "What? No, no-- Just y'know... short of breath a while there, ehe,"

Hermione narrowed her eyes skeptically at him. "You're not athletic I assume?"

He laughs, "That would be understatement of the year, Granger. I hate sports or everything athletic,"

Hermione raise her brows at that, "But you're--"

"Looking fit?"

The witch nodded and tilted her head, curious.

"Hmmmmm... Let just say that I'm active in a different way," he winked with a teasing smirks plays on his lips before starting again on their pace that he didn't even realized were stopped. He notices a blush crept on her cheeks, followed with a pout and furrow of her trimmed brows.

Her reaction was cute enough that make his veela side screech excitably inside his head. It's sorta weird feeling for him-- Good feelings but, still weird. It never awaken by the slightest whenever he interact with anyone before. Could it be? NAh--

"But I thought--"

Alex turned to look at her but instead, the two of them were interrupted.

"Alex Evans."

Called the person. Alex straightened himself up as he fixated his eyes on the wizard calling for him. Blaise Zabine.. No wait,-- yeah, pretty sure it was it. Giving the dark-skinned wizard a polite nods, Blaise smirks and gave his hand for  a shook.

"It's uh, Evcans... Not Evans," Alex corrected him as he shook his hand.

Blaise chuckles, "Oof, my bad. The name is Zabini, Blaise."

Ah, Zabin-nee. "Evcans, Alex. Pleasure to meet you,"

"The pleasure is mine," Blaise smiles, "I actually just gotten a letter from uh, a distant cousin of mine,"

"Distant cousin?"

"Oh, I guess he tells you otherwise," Blaise grins and hooked his arm around Alex's shoulder as he stirred him towards the Slytherin table, "I'm gonna borrow him for a while yea, Granger." he said, giving her a slight wave while walking together-- well dragging Alex away from her.

"Long story short, dearie..." Blaise said, "Max and I, we're cousin, but my mother-- well, she decided to stay neutral during the war and not the Leonhardt." his voice lowered at the mention of Max's family name.

Alex gave him a side glance. It's true. Max had no choice but to follow his parent's footsteps back then. He has been profusely apologizing to Michael, mainly because of the destruction the pureblood has caused him and his family. It was whew-- a long story but that's basically the gist of it.

"--And I believe you knew how the pureblood are when it come to the" Blaise make a bunny ears with his fingers, "blood-traitor, as they called it."

Alex cleared his throat, "I guess.."

"But Max and I, we click so well and so we decided to keep in touch behind our family,"
