Dorian stopped in front of one of the door and turned to his nephew.

"Before we enter this room," said he, "Is there anything you would like to ask me?"

Alex arched his brows. "W-well, I was wondering why did you send me the letter?"

Dorian put his hands over his hips and sighs, "Remember when you were looking for me few days ago but my dumb secretary didn't let you get through?"

Alex slowly nods.

Seeing the younger veela didn't say anything else, Dorian pressed his lips together before continuing, "I sense your emotion through the stone I gave you and I shit you not, it took a lot for me not to fled out from the meeting room and come straight to you."

"Why didn't you?"

Another sighs escaped from his lips, "I was in a very important meeting with Kingsley and someone from muggle world." he explained. "I am so sorry for not getting to you as fast-- But I did come and try to meet you," he adds, "But Headmistress McGonagall told me you went to clear your head,"

Alex put up a smile. He remember exactly that day, where he was almost got caught smoking by Ginny. "So-- is this why you asked to meet me?"

Dorian pursed his lips up and seem to be thinking for a moment before replying him, scratching his head, "I uh--- I pretty much just make a wild guess that you finally realised about the fifth ?"

Alex arched his brows amused, "How did--"

Dorian smirks, "From the emotion I senses. Distress, confusion, agitation, doubts--"

Alex meekly smile back, "But why didn't you just tell me about it?"

"Welp.... It's not that I didn't, I just-- Can't." the older Evcans said. He

Alex furrows his brows at that. What does his uncle mean by he can't?

"And sooo, this is why we're here today," Dorian said, "Now, Alex. This is very important. I want you to promise me that you won't mention about this meeting to anyone, not even your most trusted person."

Alex brows knitted, "Why and, and who-- are we meeting?"

Dorian meekly smiles, "Someone who have a relation with the victim of the case."

Alex eyes widened, "The--"

Dorian quickly shushed him. "Well, honestly-- she wasn't suppose to meet you but uh, it's the only way that allows me to talk about it with you,"

"What--'s that suppose to mean?"

"You'll know in a sec. Come on," said he and turned the doorknob.

Walking into the small room, Alex saw a women around his uncle's age, be sitting by the chair, looking out the window. Her face has so much sadness. Tiredness obviously written all over her facial, dark circles, hollow cheekbones and those lifeless stares at nothing just breaks Alex's heart.

Seeing her was as if her soul was sucked by a dementor.

Dorian signalled Alex to stay where he is as he slowly approached the women. Alex watches as his uncle gently whispers to the women. She stirred from her thought and slowly cast her eyes to the younger wizard.

A small, weak smile curled up on her lips, "You must be Dorian's nephew."

Alex nods, followed by a small polite smile as he approached her. "Alexander Evcans, it's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am."

She let her eyes travelled all over his face, as if she was taking every inches of his face into her mind box. Dorian let out a soft sighs, "Meet Mdm Gregmory--"
