Lavellan's P.O.V

Solas, Dorian, Cole, and I were heading across Judicael's crossing to take on Kaltenzahn. This I knew was going to be difficult. Vinsomer on Dragon Island was difficult, but Kaltenzahn is worse, she has been around a lot longer and is much stronger. But we could do it. We had to. Just like we need to defeat Corypheus and his Archdemon. A scout standing on the bridge suddenly took a step forward to salute me, I just about ran into them. I quickly skipped sideways to avoid the accident. I continued to run down the middle of Judicael's crossing, Solas, Dorian, and Cole trailing behind me.

We were heading to Pools of the Sun when I spotted some demons. Two Rage Demon, some Wraiths, and a Desire Demon. I used body guard so I would absorb some of the damage others took, making sure Solas stayed in range, he often isn't and takes a lot of damage as he has range attacks, unlike my own. Solas added a barrier to our health, helping us all to defeat these demons.

Once the demons were felt with, we searched to find any loot and the path to the Ring where Kaltenzahn was nesting. Suddenly, Kaltenzahn flew over us, I ducked to avoid her claws as she was low to the ground. Once she had passed I looked up just in time to see her pull up and gracefully land at the top of her nest. As frightening and dangerous as there are, dragons are majestic and graceful. I almost feel bad for going to attack it. But I know the consequences if I don't, and I don't want innocent blood on my hands.

I spotted a narrow path connected to the road leading to the Ring.

"Quick, this way!" I pointed ahead of me as I began to run. I heard the others footsteps pick up speed, only a step behind me.

The winding stairs were covered in rubble, I jumped nimbly over each pile until I reached the top. Kaltenzahn was stomping her feet and facing away from me, so I roared to taunt her.

"ATTACK!"

Cole and I went right up to the dragon, running at full speed. Solas and Dorian stayed to the edges.

I saw Dorian muttering a short spell and there was a wall made of fire directly beneath the beast, going from the base of it's tail up to the base of the neck. The flames licked the belly of the beast, and it screeched. It was deafening, especially since I was trying to break through the dragon's protective scales at its neck. I saw Cole disappear, all I could see was a faint glimmer of where he was. He climbed up onto Kaltenzahn's back.

I looked behind me to make sure Solas was okay, and he was. He put out a barrier and focused on providing us with one as often as he could while attacking the dragon. Dorian was setting up circles that once the dragon stepped on, would burst into flames and deal major damage to it. I turned and focused on my task. Shortly after, I wasn't too far from breaking through the scales, Kaltenzahn screamed with rage again, I looked to see Cole using his vicious daggers on Kaltenzahn's neck while sitting on it's back. I'm glad he's on our side, I would not want those used against me. I quickly joined Cole to deal the killing blow. I saw flames erupt beneath the beasts feet as it started to stumble. Cole had both his daggers as deep as he could get through the beasts neck in the area he had mutilated earlier. My sword went straight through Kaltenzahn's neck right by the wound Cole inflicted. We looked at each other, and I nodded. In unison, we pulled out blades out sideways to slice through the neck. Blood sprayed and the dragon's body went limp. Once the neck hit the ground Cole jumped away, out of the way of the still falling wings, while I rolled forwards, towards where the head lay. A gush of wind let me know the wings were down, and Kaltenzahn was no more. As I stood up I saw Solas watching me. I smiled at him as he returned the smile. His smile is adorable, he looks so pleased with our accomplishment.

"Ugh, I got dragon's blood on my clothes." I headed Dorian complaining. Of course. He was more concerned about how 'good' he looked that if he had any injuries.
