Lavellan's P.O.V
Skyhold had been a welcoming sight for us all, a safe place to rest and plan to save Thedas. I was with Solas, the room was silent, bar the noises that drifted up through the window from all the people several stories below outside. I heard Solas sigh.
"Anything wrong Solas?
"Just sick of Varric and the others that is all." He answered. He moved his hand that was my her hip to caress my face.
"Ar lath ma." I lifted myself up and buried my face in his neck, taking in his scent. I pulled my legs up so I sitting on Solas' lap, my arms wrapped around his neck, and his around my waist.
"Ar lath am my heart." He looked down into my eyes.
I smiled and closed my eyes, tired. I soon fell asleep, safe in Solas' arms.
I woke up. Solas was still asleep, so I had to carefully wriggle myself free of his protective arms. I stood facing him for a while watching him as he slept. He was smiling. After a few moments I had decided I had watched long enough that I could take in each handsome feature of his face, but not long enough that it became creepy. I tiptoed over to the window careful not to wake Solas from his slumber. I searched the stars looking for any constellations, but it is difficult normally you can only see them using Astrium. A long time later I felt two arms wrap around my waist and a head against my shoulder.
"Solas.."
"Vhenan."
I turned to face him, one arm against his chest, the other on his waist. He leant in and kissed me.
"I love you forever Solas."
"As do I Vhenan, you are my everything," I smiled and his lips found mine.
After kissing for several long moments I turned around to face the moon whilst his arms were still wrapped around me. His face nuzzled my neck, followed by a kiss upon my neck. I smiled. The pressure from his hand against my waist was removed as he caressed my face. His lips soon found my own. It was late and I was tired, as was Solas. Slowly we moved towards the bed and lay down, still entangled in each other's arms. Sleep soon found me.
Several hours later I slipped out from Solas' grasp and headed to my bedchambers, knowing if I didn't come from my bedchambers in the later morning it would look suspicious. I whispered into Solas' ear I was leaving so he wouldn't worry before I left, he was half asleep but mumbled a reply. According to the others, Solas and I were playing Wicked Grace last night nothing more.
Turning over in my sleep, I woke to the pain of my face meeting the floor followed by the rest of me. I picked myself up and slowly made my way to one of the balconies. Flinging the double doors wide open, the icy wind whipped around me. Wide awake I look around the view of Skyhold's ground. Very few people were milling about, soldiers walking along the Barracks keeping an eye out for Corypheus. Turning on my heels I walked over to my bed to pull the sheets up so it looked made. My eyes surveyed the room and once I was satisfied it was okay, I skipped down the stairs to the main hall. Varric glanced up, spotted me and started smirking. I decided to avoid conversing with him and flitted past him, smiling politely to greet him.
Solas was lying back in his chair, eyes closed and smiling. He hears the door click shut behind me and woke from his daydream with a start. I had reached his desk and decided to sit down on his lap as he pushed back his chair. I wrapped my arms around his neck and nuzzled his neck. I felt his hand on my shoulder. and one on my hip.
"Josephine has informed me we are to be celebrating our success this evening, all who's currently at Skyhold are attending as few others from Orlais court," I informed Solas.
