"Bro, what's wrong? You don't look good." Wayo said in concern as Gulf threw himself in work for last one week.
"I'm fine. So, how's college? Did you decide the topic for your project?"
"Yeah, I did but don't change the subject. Something happened, right?"
"Nothing happened."
"Is it something to do with Mew?"
The visible tightness of jaw and harsh draw of breath was enough indication for Wayo to realize he was right.
"What happened, Phi? Did he say something? I mean things pretty much okay between you guys so what-"
"Wayo, drop the matter. I'm not in mood to discuss that right now."
"But-"
Pha cut Wayo in the middle because he could see his friend losing his patience and if Gulf ended up shouting at Wayo he would regret it later, "Babe, Gulf said it's fine so let's leave it at that. Why don't you go shopping with Tine? You guys haven't been out in a while."
Wayo wanted to push ahead with his questions but a stern glare from Pha stopped him from pursuing the matter further, "Okay. See you guys later."
"Take care and make sure Tine is fine."
"Of course, Phi."
After Wayo had left, Pha looked at Gulf patiently waiting for him to open up because he knew Gulf needed to vent out and he would in his own time.
"Stop staring at me. Don't you have any work to do?"
"I'm done for the day."
"Then go home."
"We are going out tonight."
"Not in mood."
"Doesn't matter."
"Pha-"
"I'm not asking you to open up, Gulf. Just spend some time away from work. You need to unwind."
Gulf sighed, "Fine."
Both of them reached club 'Midnight', their usual go to place and after several drinks Gulf ended up telling Pha everything that'd transpired between Mew and him. Pha felt bad for his friend who had opened his heart to someone after such a long time to only get it crushed. He wanted to barge into Mew's house and punch him for treating Gulf like that but he knew it would only aggravate the situation. Hell keep an eye on Mew until Gulf decided how to deal with this.
Mew was lying in his bed as he pondered over his stupid life choices. He was beyond livid. Things had been chaotic since he met Gulf and he deeply regretted signing that contract in the first place. He hated to admit but he had started liking Gulf's company. At first he was intimidated by Gulf but soon he got used to it and then they slept together. It was scary and unfamiliar for him to feel so out of his depth with someone. Gulf made him feel powerful yet weak.
He had never imagined Gulf would submit to him. The guy looked like he would never give up control no matter what but every time they got close Gulf gave up control so easily it excited Mew to no ends. He hadn't imagined himself as dominant partner, definitely not with someone like Gulf but he would be lying if he said he didn't love it. He felt like he was on the top of the world when he has Gulf in his arms.
Gulf has been so responsive and sensitive in his hands it was like aphrodisiac. When that cool though exterior of his broke, Mew could finally see the vulnerable side of him and it was beautiful to watch. Mew wouldn't say he liked Gulf like that, it was more like when he was with Gulf he felt drunk on power. That's how Gulf made him feel. There was this dynamic in their relationship that was new to both of them. Out of bed Mew was submissive to Gulf and in bed Mew was the one in control.
