Mew was sulking in the class thinking about how Gulf had kicked him out of his house. Things had calmed down at his home when he told Kit and Sarawat everything that had transpired though both of them were still upset over everything but at least they had agreed to forgive him. But Gulf wouldn't even talk to him. Mew had tried to call him few times only to be blocked. To be honest he didn't even know why was he trying so hard to talk to Gulf. He should be done with it all and move on with his life but now that he knew Gulf had done nothing wrong and even like him, he couldn't go back to his life like nothing had happened.

Gulf intrigued him like no other man had, not that he had met many men like Gulf. In front of Gulf, he felt like a kid, an immature one at that. And after recent events he felt stupid for being so harsh towards Gulf. Still he wanted to give this a try, whatever was between both them, he wanted it to be more. No one made him feel like Gulf did and it was like being addicted. And even when you know it won't end well, you can't give up on the addiction.

He was walking to the football field when he heard boys talking in the locker room about him and Gulf.

"Did you hear Mew has a sugar daddy?"

"What? Seriously?"

"Yes, he's too poor to afford anything so he opted to selling his body. "

"Someone saw him going with that rich man in his car many times."

"That's disgusting. He's gay?"

"Yup, I knew it felt creepy when we changed in locker room."

"Should gays be allowed in men's locker room? It's creepy."

"I knew it was weird that a rich man came to pick him up."

"Exactly, sleeping with older man to get money? How low can one go?"

"Oh here is the sugar baby."

One of the guy saw Mew standing at the door and dragged him inside. Mew felt like crying and that made him angry with himself. He knew he should shout at him and walk away but he was frozen at the spot. He had never been the one to be bullied, he wasn't the popular guy but he wasn't a loner either. He had never been in a situation where he felt so powerless and insignificant.

He never publicly came out and except Off no one knew he was gay and he never really thought it would make a difference. But right now his teammates, people he called friends were insulting and laughing at him. He wasn't physically weak yet he couldn't fight them off when they started punching and kicking him as he cowered in fear and shock.

"Look at him. You really look pathetic right now." One of the guy said.

"How does it feel doing it with a guy?"

"How many people do you sell your body to?" Another one snarled.

"Stop it." Mew said as he was kicked in stomach.

"Listen here, you don't order us. It's other way around."

"Why are you doing this?" Mew asked.

"Because it's fun and you deserve it, fag."

"Shut up." Mew snapped.

The captain of the team, Lewis came forward and grabbed Mew's hair tightly making him wince in pain, "From today you are our bitch. Just follow our orders and you will be fine."

It had been 2 weeks since then and Mew's life had changed drastically. He was being bullied daily by his classmates and no one was ready to help him. He complained to his head of department but was neglected because Lewis and his friends came from influential families and donated regularly to the university while Mew was no one. He thought of telling Kit but didn't want to get him in trouble because knowing Kit he would barge in the college and fight with the teacher.

It seemed like everything that could go wrong was going wrong for him. The bullies were quite smart. They never hit him on face or where it would be visible. Most of the time they humiliated and demeaned him instead of physically assaulting him because emotional scars can't be seen. They were sweet and kind to him in the class like always and after college they asked him to come to one of their houses and tortured him. They called it fun time.

They either made him do their assignments and projects making him miss his own or buy stuff for them like an errand boy. These things were something he could at least put up with but other things they did were too much to take. They made him crawl to them and called him disgusting names while making him dress like a girl. Lewis father's friend worked as manager where Kit was working and he threatened to get his brother fired if he ever told him about this. They threatened to bully Sarawat if he went against them.

Mew could take it as long as his brothers were okay. He still remembered what had happened when he went to principal to complain about everything.

"Mew, look I thought you were a decent kid but things I have heard about you are quite disturbing."

"W-what?"

"You sell your body to older man for money."

"That's not true."

"I don't want to jeopardize your future but if things like this went out it would be hard for me to keep you here."

"What do you mean?"

"Lewis is such a kind kid. He came to see me and told me about how you have been going astray. He said he'll guide you since he is class representative and your friend. And here you are complaining about him. How ungrateful are you?"

"He's the one bullying me along with his friends. All these bruises-"

"Don't make up stories. He comes from respectful family. His father is Chief Prosecutor and his mother is a doctor while you are an orphan."

"What's that got to do with anything?"

"No one is there to give you right upbringing that's why you are gay."

"That's ridiculous."

"Don't raise your voice here. If I hear another word against you, I'll have to expel you."

Mew felt so disgusted with everything and everyone around him. Aren't adults supposed to do the right thing? Then why was he being told get beaten like it was nothing? Just because he's an orphan and poor, does it make everything his fault? Are people who have parents and come from good background saints? Is money so powerful that people would turn a blind eye to abuse? He was the victim here then why were they making him feel guilty?

He couldn't afford to be expelled. He was here on full scholarship and only a year was left. He could bear it for that long. Just few months more and he would be out of this hell. He would clench his teeth and tolerate it because his education was all he had. He needed to graduate to get a good job and earn enough money to never feel this powerless and pathetic again.
Just a year. He could survive till then, right?
