Lhong was cursing his fate as he was lying on the floor of his apartment after getting beaten up by Gulf's bodyguard. He shouldn't have messed with him. He very well knew how utterly cruel Gulf could be if provoked. It's just when he heard Gulf had a boyfriend, it made him jealous and angry. Lhong had pinned after Gulf for so long while the latter didn't even spare him a glance. Gulf always treated him like he was nothing and it irked him a lot so he thought it would be perfect revenge to nail his boyfriend in that party but of course it backfired since Gulf found them immediately.

Still all wasn't lost since he had installed spy cam in the room beforehand so he thought he could use that video in some way. He couldn't blackmail Gulf with that because he would destroy him before he could do anything so he thought of another way. And he got the opportunity when he decided to cause trouble on Mew's end. He sent the video to his brother, getting Kit's number wasn't that difficult. But unfortunately Gulf found out and here they were.

"Do you have a death wish? I thought you would have learnt your lesson after the last time."

"You got me fired and blacklisted in the industry." Lhong said angrily.

"So? You deserved it. You messed with my boy. Delete that video and any copy of it you may possess and come with me to apologize to Mew."

"What makes you think I'll do that?"

"Seems like you really wanna die. Listen carefully Lhong, patience isn't my virtue and when people get on my nerves I prefer to have them removed permanently."

"I'm not afraid of you."

"You should be. I can be quite monstrous when I want to be." Gulf signalled his bodyguard to mess up Lhong and after getting punched and kicked for 10 minutes, he relented.

Gulf called Mew to meet him at his house and after an hour Mew was there. Mew at first thought it would be better to not go but he wanted to know the truth too. He wanted to give a last chance to Gulf to prove himself. As soon as he entered the house he saw Lhong sprawled on the floor.

Mew asked, "What's he doing here?"

"He's the one behind everything."

"What?"

And then Lhong confessed to everything making Mew absolutely livid with him.

"Can I punch him once?"

"Go ahead." And that's what Mew did.

After Lhong was kicked out, Mew turned to Gulf and apologized, "I'm sorry, Gulf."

"It's fine."

"Um...That's it?" Mew asked.

"What else do you want me to say?"

"Our contract-"

"It's over. We already nullified it so no issue there."

"But it was broken because-"

"You said before all this that you didn't want to do it anymore. So I think it's for the best."

"I was just overwhelmed at that time."

"Whatever the reason, it's over now. Mew you are free to live your life as you wish. If you want I can explain this all to Kit to make him understand it wasn't your fault in any way."

"It's fine. I'll talk to Kit. He'll understand me."

"Okay. You can leave now."

"But what about us?"

"There was no us to begin with."

"I'm really sorry for everything."

"Mew, I understand why you did what you did. You were angry because of the misunderstanding Lhong caused and it's understandable. I'm not angry over it anymore."

"So you forgive me?"

"Yes."

"So can we talk about us."

"What's there to talk? I don't want a fake bf anymore."

"I don't mean fake."

"Do you love me, Mew?"

"N-no."

"Do you like me?"

"I'm not sure."

"Then there's your answer. We have nothing to do with each other."

"But you said you like me?"

"So? It didn't work out."

"Because of that misunderstanding."

"Mew, you said some pretty cruel and harsh things to me. Had it been someone else I would have already made them regret it long ago. Misunderstanding or not, I didn't deserve to be treated like that. At least you should have tried to find out the truth before you lashed out at me.

I opened up to you and you used it against me. That's the reason, Mew I don't ever trust people with my weakness. It was a stupid mistake on my part. Whatever it was let's forget about it and move on with our lives."

"You don't like me anymore? Just because I said some hurtful things?"

"Let me make one thing very clear, I'm Gulf Kanawut and whether it's business or love, I don't put up with disrespect. The only reason I called you today here was to let you know the truth. Nothing more. Don't think just because I like you, you can treat me however you want.

I'm not that desperate for love. I did perfectly fine without it for last 30 years, I can live without it in future too. To me, my pride and dignity is far important than love. The only reason I didn't hurt you was because it wasn't entirely your fault, but don't think I'll let you get away with it again."

"It wasn't actually my fault. Anyone would react like that."

"Stop being a brat, Mew. I don't have time or patience for your tantrums. Get out before I kick you out."

Mew felt upset because of the way Gulf was talking to him, "You said you forgave me then why are you still angry?"

"You haven't seen me angry yet, Mew and trust me you don't want to."

"I said I was sorry for everything. I didn't mean to hurt you like that. I just was upset because of my fight with Kit."

"But you did hurt me and quite cruelly if I must say. You said all those hurtful things right after we had been intimate. Do you have any idea how that felt? I don't want to see your face anymore. So kindly get lost." With that said Gulf shut the door in Mew's face.
