Last Friday, right after their movie night, Hyunsuk went ahead of Jihoon, Junkyu and Jeongwoo. The three were busy teasing each other from who let out the girliest scream among them.
Hyunsuk reached the door first. He turned the knob and entered their dorm room. His eye sight was dragged down immediately to the floor upon seeing a particular object lying down there. His eyes widened when he recognized it to be the planchette he took away from the hidden compartment in their classroom. He rushed to pick it up and hide it from being seen by the others. He was quick to throw it under the covers of his bed and made it in time before his three roommates saw it as they entered.
Present time
They all ran fiercely just like as if their lives depended on it. Their quick footsteps and panting breaths echoed loudly throughout the hallways.
Jeongwoo running at the front, lead them all to the lounge area where they stopped. Their hearts were thundering wildly and loudly from the adrenaline caused by both fear and excitement, but mostly fear. Nothing else significantly horrifying happened once they left their classroom.
"Is everyone here?" Doyoung inquired as soon as he caught his breath. He wanted to ensure no one had been left behind.
Jaehyuk was quick to make a head count. He counted twelve heads. He also made sure it was exactly those that had been present back at the room, just in case it was now a ghost they brought along with them.
"Everyone is here." Jaehyuk affirmed.
"Did those things just really happened?" Junkyu asked breathing heavily from all the running.
"You guys are still doubting what happened there? We just interacted with a ghost or ghosts maybe." Hyunsuk said, breathing heavily as well.
"I believe you. I have it all caught on camera." Junghwan waved his camera with an excited smile.
The experience they went through was simply terrifying but for Junghwan he was really happy to have caught authentic paranormal activity on camera. This would surely get him views on his YouTube channel. He checked the footage to replay everything. However, he was distraught to be presented with broken footage. Actually, his camera captured everything very well. There was the clip of them getting together, playing the Ouija board and all their screaming afterwards. But every time it reaches to the part where Junghwan filmed the occurrence of ghost activity, it would turn into static or a black screen.
"What? How can this be? I'm sure I captured it all well." Junghwan put out.
They heard his distress and came close to check the camera footage themselves. They were shown the same static and a black screen whenever it reached the part of the ghost making itself known to them.
"This is creepy." Jihoon voiced out.
Jeongwoo made no comment and only gulped down the lump that formed in his throat. There were goosebumps that formed on his skin just from watching the footage.
"Yah, I'm getting goosebumps again." Junkyu declared while rubbing on his arms.
"Maybe your camera is broken?" Mashiho suggested.
"It can't be broken. I just bought this a month ago and I'm always careful when using it." Junghwan explained.
Hyunsuk took a look at the footage and realized that they left the board game back at the classroom. Not to mention, they left it in a mess.
"Shit. The room is a mess." Doyoung cursed.
He forgot all factors about their scary experience and was now focused on stressing over getting the room cleaned before their teacher comes in the morning to witness the place that looked like it has been wrecked havoc by wild animals.
