Chapter Fifteen (Edited)

General P.O.V (Andrew)

Andrew woke up with a massive headache as he had gotten next to no sleep at all the previous night. He had woken up from his 'journey to the past' much later than he had meant too and had gotten home much later. 9pm to be exact. To say his mother was angry was an understatement. She was boiling in rage to say the least and Andrew was too tired to come up with an excuse on why he hadn't picked up his phone.

In addition to his headache, his stomach was done grumbling to him to feed it. Now Andrew thinks his stomach and started to eat itself, cause he was feeling less hungry but was in more pain which was why he was now clutching his stomach in his hands while whining.

He picked himself up from his very comfortable bed, which he really wanted to get back too but the pain in his stomach had him climbing down from the bed, quickly, resulting in dizziness and a not-so-faint feeling of nausea. It had made him grab unto his headboard to steady both his dizzy head and stomach which Andrew was sure that if he throw up, there will be nothing but air coming out.

He managed to make it to his bathroom, grabbing his toothbrush and applying a sizable amount of toothpaste unto it cause his mouth tasted like shit. Not really though. Just pretty bad. And it added to list of things that made him very nauseous this morning. He brushed and did his morning face routine before heading downstairs to get a large amount of breakfast.

His mother was up and about and he muttered a faint good morning to her before heading towards the cupboard where the loaf of bread laid waiting for him to ravish. He placed his hand on it, smoothing the wrap and was about to get it out of it wooden cage, where a wooden spoon snapped him out of his hungry daze.

"Go sit down, breakfast is ready". With that, Andrew let go of the bread, once again trapping it in its wooden cage, to be eaten another day and walking towards the dining table.

As he sat down, he saw his mother bringing out breakfast comprising of large amounts of pancakes. There was also bacon. Toasted bread and scrambled eggs with a bowl of cut fruits that had yoghurt drizzled over it, almost floating the chopped fruits. He looked towards his mother with a brow raised, as if asking, what in the world is going on? His mother seemed to understand his unasked question.

"I knew you'll be hungry seeing as you didn't eat last night and you're up by 6 am in the morning". Andrew looked a little taken aback and remembered that he hadn't quite checked the time before he came down. He searched his pockets for his phone before remembering that he didn't pick it up before leaving the room, so his eyes darted towards the wall clock that lay on top of the fireplace, but everything was kind of blurry. He had put on neither his contacts nor his glasses. He gave up on seeing the time for himself.

He stuffed himself full of pancakes, before having a taste of bacon, toasted bread and eggs, but he didn't feel quite full. He had the entire bowl of chopped fruits, yet he felt like he hadn't eaten a thing. He looked up to see his mother looking at him, with a shocked face. He ignored it, thanked her before helping her to place the plates inside the dishwasher and leaving the kitchen for his room.

He still felt quite tired and hungry and he didn't quite understand the later part, as he had eaten almost everything his mom had made. It was like he was craving something else. He didn't feel like going to school today, so he flopped back on the bed and let his tiredness overwhelm him.

The next time Andrew woke up was by noon time, his blinds were open and he felt like he was burning. Not in a fever kind of way, literally burning. He groaned and moved a little out of the beam of sunlight filtering into his room, through the open blinds and he felt a little bit better. He became fully awake and stretched his body, some part entering into the sunlight and the burning sensation returned. That snapped him out of it.
