Chapter Twenty (Edited)
General P.O.V (Andrew)
"What do you mean we were been followed? I didn't see any car trailing us".
"You guys didn't see us trailing you".
"Fair enough". Andrew shrugged. "But who was following us?"
"We don't know at the moment but I think you all might be in danger".

Andrew went to school the next day feeling a little off. He didn't like the feeling. It was as if something was nagging him at the back of his head to go home but at the same time to stay.
After the meeting last night, everyone went home afraid of their life. Andrew felt really bad for dragging his friends into his mess. He didn't want anything to happen to any of them. He knew the least he could do was to make sure they were okay and find the stone quicker but the protectors said that it won't be possible without all the Supernaturals together. He had to make a team of werewolves, vampires, faes (Fairies) and elves even a few humans for him to be able to acquire the stone. And most of all he has to be their leader and Andrew didn't think he had it in him and where the hell was he going to find those creatures?
School dragged really long and Andrew was really considering ditching but he refused to heed into temptation. He went through it but he didn't think he understood what the teachers were saying and they all noticed. He's always very attentive and engaged in all his classes but he just wasn't feeling it today. Not after hearing that he and his friends were in danger.
"Mr. Powers, is there anything wrong?" His Physics teacher asked him as he was about to follow the train of students leaving the Lab. 'Of course sir, my friends and I are in danger because I am the reincarnation of a vampire that supposedly knows where a magical stone is and I am meant to go and find it or the world will go to doom'. Of course Andrew didn't say that, so he searched his head for an excuse.
"It's my father's death anniversary tomorrow". Andrew swallowed a lump that formed in his throat and choked back on the tears that were about to fall. Not because of the anniversary but because he had forgotten the day his father had left this world. Andrew felt like such a bad son. Andrew felt tired. No wonder his mother demeanor was sad and a little bit slow today. Nothing like her usual vibrant attitude.
"Oh... am sorry". The teacher replied, seemingly short of words. He had a look of pity of his face and it was something Andrew didn't want to see. So he just nodded and walked out of the lab as quickly as he could. He wanted to avoid everybody today and even more he wanted Dmitri. He wanted his mate to hold him while he cries his heart and should out. He wanted to be free of his burden even if it was just for a minute. The fate of the world hanging on your shoulder can wreak you inside out.
Andrew felt tired and when he opened his locker, he took out a mirror and looked at himself. He looked just as tire as he felt. His usual vibrant smile was not there, there were dark bags hanging under his eyes; he hadn't gotten any sleep last night and he was mostly able to stand because of the large amount of caffeine he had pumped into his system before coming to school.
He felt tears about to fall, so he picked up his phone and dialed Dmitri's number. It rang for a little while before he finally picked up.
'Can you please come and pick me up?'
'Yes honey, where are you?'
'Down the hall, near my locker'. With that he dropped the phone and fell on the floor. He put his head in his hands, shielding his face from the outside world. He willed the tears in, not wanting them to fall just yet.
