Chapter Seventeen (Edited)
General P.O.V (Dmitri)
Dmitri always knew he was gay. He knew he liked a flat chest and not an inflated one. He knew he liked cocks and not pussies. He always knew. But the attraction he felt for a certain blue-haired boy was just off the charts. He loved everything about the boy. From his beautiful blue eyes that looked like a vast cloudless sky which complimented his deep blue hair extremely, to the round butt that shook and jiggled up and down the first time the boy ran, when Dmitri had first seen the boy
But this wasn't even the biggest of his problems. The problem was that the boy was a vampire. How could the boy be a vampire? H hadn't smelt like a vampire the first time they had met, then how suddenly is he a vampire? Did he mask his scent? Why was his scent driving him crazy?
Vampires do not have mates. But some were lucky enough to have one. It has been several years since any vampire at all has found the rightful one for him/her and it had always been for a reason. Once, Vampville was hit by a crazy and deadly illness which affected both the humans and vampires living in the town at that time. Two vampires, a male and female had found out that they were the rightful ones for each other. A vision was shown to the vampire king then, that the two must produce a child who will heal the land. The woman was pregnant at the time this vision was shown to the king. Vampire pregnancy doesn't take longer and the child was like a three year old in less than 12 months. Long story short, the land was purged of the disease.
He had to tell Coaster.
Coaster always knew everything. The vampire himself was as old as his father but didn't show any sign of weakness or old age. Sometimes Dmitri believed he would never die, not that he wanted him to die or anything. He adored the man and wanted him to stay with him forever or till he died anyway. Coaster always listened to his ramblings, help take care of him when he was still a vampire child, disciplined him and trained him. If he had to choose between Coaster and his own father, the king, everyone knew who he would pick over the other. The king knew. Coaster also knew. Yet, he didn't misuse it.
Coaster was listening to the grumbles and complains of his wife in the kitchen when the, normally loud young vampire prince came into the kitchen looking quite troubled. He waved off his wife, telling her to find something to do with her time rather than sitting around doing nothing. He went to where the young prince was sitting and greeted him but the prince didn't seem to hear him. He waved at him. Nothing. Then he went close to his ear and greeted him again, that seemed to snap at the prince out of it as he looked back at him with furrowed brows, then his face lit up.
"Good evening, young prince". Coaster greeted again, to which the prince waved off and asked,
"According to stories, how does one know he or she has found his rightful one?" Coaster was quite taken aback by the question. Vampires do not have mates and even if they do it was for a reason and it normally signified that something foreboding is about to happen and the two 'mates' might be the ones to stop it or prevent it from happening.
"I do not know, my prince but some say that they had a different scent to others, you feel extremely attracted to them without knowing why. That about everything I know".
"I think I've found my mate and he's a vampire".

Coaster looked at the prince expecting to say gotcha by none came and stared at the prince as if he's suddenly got two heads.
The prince on the other hand, didn't care if Coaster believed him or not. He had to find out why he had a mate; something bad must be happening or about to happen, considering the strange things that are now occurring in Vampville.
