A\N: First off, apologies for the late update. I've been mad busy. Second, this is (I'm pretty sure) the last chapter of this book! Ooh, I'm both relieved and kind of sad about it. Relieved because now I don't have to force myself to go another route when I get an idea. Sad because this was still super fun to write.
I appreciate all of the nice comments, DMS, reads, and votes that I've gotten. Each and everyone made me feel appreciated regardless of the number.
Also, over 1K reads is super cool.
I will continue to write, and learn. I'm discovering more and more how much I enjoy creative activities like art and writing.
And to think this movie sparked a big part of it. It was so beautifully done and written, and I will always remember that feeling I got my first time watching.
It's definitely opened some doors for me to discover a culture I'd never really known much about. There's so much to it, and many things remind me of my own culture.
It is perhaps a teeny bit rushed, but I hope you enjoy this final chapter of this book.
I've already started on the remake, and I feel like it's so much better. Probably because my ideas are all new and I have an opportunity to fully flesh it out before putting it on paper.
Again, if anyone is somewhat interested, lmk and I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, enough about me ig.
I hope you enjoy, and thank you for reading!

The next morning my immediate family, along with Camilo, Mirabel, and her sisters set out for the Encanto.
"I saw this coming." Isabela said, shaking her head.
Camilo and I walked ahead hand in hand.
I slightly rolled my eyes, but pretended I didn't hear her.
"Camilo and Imena sitting in a tree," Mirabel began.
Luisa joined her.
"K-I-S-S-I-"
"Okay!" I said, turning to face them both.
Camilo squeezed my hand.
"Ignore them." he said. "They're just jealous."
"No, I'm totally happy for you guys." Mirabel said, skipping beside me. "Imagine the celebration when we get back."
"Oh..." I trailed off. "How about we don't tell everyone...yet."
"Why not?" Isabela asked.
"I mean, it's not like I'm scared or anything like that..."
"Here we go again..." Ikemba sighed.
"No! No, it's not like that. I just don't really want the attention right now." I reasoned.
"No worries, mi vida. As long as we keep to ourselves we should be good." Camilo shrugged.
I pouted.
"Not like that...just don't be affectionate around people, is all. They'll know." I said.
"It'll be hard...I mean, we just got together and now we have to be apart?"
I bit my lip and looked up at the sky.
