𝐑𝛐𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝛐𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 arms over her chest while James runs his tongue along with his teeth, and he places his hands at his sides. She huffs and rolls her eyes. This is ridiculous.
"Are you seriously not going to let me leave?" She asks with eyebrows high on her head.
"Hydra is trackin' us too quickly. I'm goin' with you," he replies, and she rolls her eyes again.
"You've got to be kidding me. Steve is going to be there!" She says, flailing her arms around. Alpine is sitting on top of the small cabinet, watching them argue while swiping her tail back and forth.
"Steve isn't me," he bites back, and she feels the anger rise in her.
"I need some fucking time away from you!" She snaps and glares up at him.
James is fuming at her words, and he takes a step closer, staring down at her with a tense jaw and a snarl on his lips. "Too fuckin' bad, Princess. You said it yourself, there's gonna be more Hydra agents here than anywhere else."
Rosalie is sick of this argument already. Partially because he might be right, but she doesn't want him to be around her and Steve. It's probably going to be awkward, and it would be easier if there wasn't some grumpy guy next to her. He's undoubtedly going to make it worse. She's already going to be late.
"You're driving then," she spits and tries to roughly push him away with a hand on his chest, which doesn't work. He moves less than an inch.
"Whatever," he grumbles and rolls his eyes.
James grabs the keys to the car while she goes for the ones to the room. Rosalie pets Alpine and walks out of the door, glancing behind herself, she finds James to be doing the same thing before leaving.
The cat even reaches out for the sleeve on his sweatshirt and tries to get him to stay, but he peels the claws out of his shirt. James leans down and whispers something to the cat. She can't help but become a little... jealous, almost, from seeing the interaction with her cat, but she tries to quickly shake it off.
She's too angry to say anything as they take the elevator down the tens of floors until they reach the parking garage. They both get into the black Porsche, and Rosalie types the café into the GPS, and they make their way out into the snowy streets of Manhattan. James frowns at the address and lets out a deep groan of annoyance.
"That fuckin' place? Steve and Sam go there all the time," he grumbles, shaking his head, and Rosalie smiles to herself.
"You know... It's pure luck we never ran into each other before," she chuckles and shakes her head. "I guess you're just too antisocial."
