𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 neck backwards to glare up at the towering building in front of her. It's not the skyscraper belonging to Hydra. No, that is one block over. She's merely getting a sense of the height without getting too close. She can see the upper parking level in the Hydra building from here. One hundred stories up – if not more.
With a deep breath, she begins her trek away from the building. Bucky and Steve are waiting in one of the latter's cars. One of the standard models Hydra uses. Rosalie clenches her hand tightly around the access card in her pocket she's just stolen. It's not hard to spot who's with Hydra and who isn't. Not to her. She knows them.
Her shoulders are too tense but trying to focus on relaxing only makes it worse. No one is going to notice. Plenty of people out on the street are equally stressed-looking as she is. Rosalie finds her way to the black SUV and gets into the backseat. The two bulky men are sat in the front. Steve glances at her through the rearview mirror, while Bucky turns with a concerned mien.
"I'm fine, no issues," she speaks with a soft smile. He nods but doesn't seem fully convinced. She knows how worried he is about this whole thing.
"Got the card then?" Steve asks.
"Of course, who do you take me for?" She overconfidently says – to convince herself – as she pulls the card out of James's leather jacket, she's draped around herself.
"Of course," Steve reassures and sets the car into motion.
The wheels of the car turn as they begin floating above the ground and slowly make their way into the sky. He's careful to not seem suspicious. They interlace with the traffic of the sky and make their way towards Central Park. Doing a round will make it easier to pass off as a Hydra operative coming into work.
Rosalie chose to steal from the person who looked the most like mess. A young woman who might just think she had forgotten the card at home and wouldn't alert the desk. Rosalie has never been so happy about the human element to every operation. A clear exploitative flaw.
She leans forward in the seat and puts her hand on James's shoulder, sending him another smile. He's worried. Annoyed. Pissed off that she's even here, but they can't do it without her. He was the one who insisted on getting this done now.
They make the round, and the large skyscraper once again comes into view. The car soars upwards in the direction of the parking space. Between his fingers, the card rolls around as he nervously fidgets with it. For Rosalie, this is the one part she isn't worried about.
When they get inside, that's where her worries start. They're all wearing inconspicuous clothes, hoping to walk through the building without issue. Get to the lower floors without alerting anyone. If you're wearing the right clothes, few people will question you. Rosalie isn't sure how well it'll go.
