𝐑𝛐𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞 folds the jelly-like piece of cloth. It matches her skin colour perfectly already. Once again, she wonders if Stark left more nanotech in the invite for her sake. The more she's looked into the card, the more confused she's become as to what kind of man he is. Nonetheless, reprogramming the nanobots was easy enough, and she's been able to finalise the design of her Retina Cloaks.
Theoretically, they should be able to mask the retinas of people who look at you. They're meant to make the most subtle changes to your face so that people who know you won't recognise the features, and it won't look strange to people who don't know you. Theoretically.
"I'm going to hog the shower," she says to James, who grunts and continues to read.
She stands up and stretches her body. Both her shoulders, arms, and knees all crack before she pads into the bathroom with her duffel bag. Rosalie knows how much time she needs to spend on her appearance to fit in with the people there. The Retina Cloaks simply cling to what's already on your face, so makeup is still needed. That could be a good idea to improve them, have them add makeup.
It took a few hours, but she figured out how to copy the invite in the end. The nanobots were remarkably compliant when it came to creating a new and identical nanochip. She understands why Stark tech is as desirable as it is. Loki even wanted to have a look when he came by earlier. It was mostly to threaten her for cash, and she ended up getting him to leave by transferring what was left in her account. She's piss poor again.
Rosalie spends about an hour in the shower and on the aftercare, making sure everything is shaved and exfoliated. For a while, she isn't sure what to do with her makeup, but she ends with eyeshadow in dark brown hues and red eyeliner to match the colour of her dress. Because of the eyeliner, she doesn't use the lipstick she normally does but goes for a Merlot colour instead.
Rosalie slips on the dress and reminds herself to wear a black jacket over her dress. It'll compliment it nicely. When she unlocks the door, she is faced with James, who has his fist raised for a knock.
