Angel listened and nodded along as her brother told her of this apparent other gang that seemed to reside in this small town. When he finally left she eventually began unpacking her first box, as her brother's other guys slowly brought up more for her.
Grabbing her sketch pad and the case holding her pencils she steadily jumped down the stairs, clutching them tight to her chest.
"I'm going out!" She shouted, yet was stopped by Knuckles quickly blocking the doorway.
"Where?" He asked curious.
She shrugged as she heard footsteps behind her.
"We don't know the town yet, you're not going." Bullet spoke as she turned and sighed at them all.
"Come on!" She moaned out as she stared at all their expectant yet stern faces. "I saw you talk to that other gang out there, knowing you all you've clearly staked your claim so I'll be fine!"
The others turned to Chains, who sighed. "I really don't recommend it Angel."
Angel huffed as she held her sketch pad up to him. "I just wanna find something good to draw." She begged out as she stepped closer to her brother.
"You can't go alone." Sniper grumbled as he agreed with the others.
Angel moaned once more. "Oh come on! That arsehole from back home has no clue where we are! And if anything happens I'll come straight back."
The constrictors were silent. Angel glanced at them all before stepping closer to her brother.
"You know I won't stop till you let me go?" She said with a smirk.
"You're a pain you know that?" He asked, a small smile coming to his face.
"At least take this?" Razor offered her a piece of barbed wire.
Angel glanced down at it before back up at him, shaking her head. "You know I won't."
"You will if you want to go." Her brother spoke firmly.
Angel looked at his face before realising none of them would let her leave without it.
After yet another sigh she took it, shoving it in her back pocket.
They all watched cautiously as she left the house and happily skipped away, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells Castle Rock had to offer.
Yet their eyes remained on the house opposite.
"Want me to follow her?" Bullet mumbled as their eyes remained locked.
Chains nodded slowly. "Bullet, Sniper. Go." He ordered. Not a chance would he let his baby sister leave unprotected.
Ace and the other cobras watched from behind Ace's living room window.
"Told you." Ace mumbled as he watched the girl leave the house and happily skip off.
"Want me to follow her?" Eyeball asked quietly.
Ace nodded as he took another toke from his cigarette.
"All of you go, separate directions, don't make it obvious and keep out of sight. I highly doubt they're letting her go anywhere alone." He ordered as he watched the five boys across the road staring at his house.
"And if they cause a problem?" Vince asked quietly.
Ace turned and walked through to his kitchen, they all followed and watched as he opened the door slowly, gesturing for them all to leave.
"You know what to do?"
Each cobra nodded as they all slowly slipped out the back door. Ace smiled as he followed them last out, shutting the door. They were watching the front, so they left through the back.
Angel almost crashed into what was clearly a drunken male as he left, what looked to be a bar called Irbys.
His slurred speech come out as he attempted to call her beautiful and stumbled forward. Angel quickly stumbled back but felt two arms around her.
Flinching she turned and saw one of the guys her brother had spoken to, his brown hair in cute curls above his head as she saw a glimpse of a scar by his eye.
The clearly obvious leader from his gang appeared in front of her as he held onto the drunken man's arm. With one look the man stumbled back apologising profusely to the blonde she now learnt to be called Ace Merrill. Another with jet black hair at his side.
"Angel!"
She snapped her head and saw Bullet and Sniper running over. Quickly freeing herself from the brown-haired's grip she stumbled into the safety of Bullet's arms as Sniper stood in front of her, glaring at her two rescuers.
"They don't call me Sniper for no reason you know." He snarled at both boys, protective over Angel.
Ace laughed and nodded as he stepped closer. "Ace's triumph over everything you know?" He snarled back, his tone matching Sniper's.
Angel watched from Bullet's grip as the brown haired stepped closer, giving her a softer look than his leader.
"You okay love?" He asked.
She felt Bullet's arms tense up around her as she nodded.
"Thank you." She mumbled as he gave her a smile.
"Eyeball." He replied as he offered her a hand.
Yet before she could reach her arm out, Bullet had tightened his grip and Sniper moved aside, blocking his view.
"What's with the hostility?" Ace asked with a sarcastic laugh. "The way I see it, your girl could have been taken if a cobra hadn't of stepped in?" Ace spoke gesturing to Eyeball and the one with jet black hair.
"Constrictors don't need cobras." Sniper spat out as he released their gang name.
Ace pulled an impressed face as he looked back down at Angel as she struggled to pull her eyes from him.
"Cute little constrictor." He mumbled as Angel suddenly felt conscious of his gaze.
"Stay out of our way cobra." Sniper moved himself once more, blocking Ace's view.
Ace laughed as he stepped closer to Sniper. "Wouldn't dream of it, constrictor." He snapped back as he glanced Sniper up and down.
He gave his other boys another small nod as they slowly went inside Irbys themselves as Bullet instantly turned to Angel and, along with Sniper, they began leading her away, taking her straight home.
Daring a glance back she saw Ace still stood by the door, watching them walk away. Bullet snapped her head facing away as she walked in between them, mentally trying to prepare herself for the lecture she'd gain when they told her brother what happened.
