Angel winced and squealed in pain as she tried to bite down on the towel to muffle any noise.Until it was done.
She finally looked back up at herself in the mirror as she turned to the side.
The new barbed wire tattoo she had just given herself was still red and sore, small hints of blood came from her arm as it rested just above the angel wings she had.
Being careful not to make any noise she gently cleaned it up as she cleaned all the tools and wrapped them back up in her bundle, she had been the one who gave every other member theirs, seemed only fair she gave hers to herself too.
Quickly getting dressed she towel dried her hair before shoving it up into a ponytail. Giving herself one final nod in the mirror, she turned and left the bathroom.
Walking back into her room she saw Ace stood over by her window, looking out once more. He turned to face her as she entered and went over to slip her socks and trainers on.
Jumping up she looked as he approached her.
"Ready cobra?" She asked, suddenly a lot perkier than before.
Ace gave her a small smile as he nodded. "Course," his eyes trailed down to the new marking going around her arm as he looked back up at her. "Constrictor."
"I'm a Fletcher... time to start acting like one." She mumbled as she turned and headed out the room.
"Just need the cobra tattoo now." He mumbled to himself as he followed her out.
In no extra time both her and Ace were soon walking towards the station. Neither spoke but both had so much to say.
Ace went with his gut again as he reached out and interlaced her fingers with his. She gave him a small weak smile as the pair continued to walk in silence.
Yet just as the station came into clear view, they stopped as they saw both, the cobras and the constrictors, leaving. They were all talking to each other and no arguments seemed to be happening.
Bullet was once again first to noticed Ace and Angel as he alerted the rest. Their attention turned to the pair, who stood still.
Until Angel released Ace's hand and took off running. She wasn't paying any of them any attention, except one.
Chains started running at her in sync and practically scooped her up, spinning her around, as the siblings clung to each other.
The others soon gathered around as Angel whispered something in his ear. He gently set her down as she continued to whisper in his ear. His head turned to Ace as she continued to whisper.
Slowly she pulled away from him and the pair shared a silent conversation before Chains turned back to Ace slowly.
"Thank you." He forced the words out.
The others seemed slightly taken aback but Ace just nodded slowly at him. Chains gave him one final nod as he wrapped an arm around his sister and turned away, beginning to lead her back to the house. Razor, Knuckles and the brothers followed calmly.
The cobras went to follow but Ace held his hands up stopping them.
"Billy does Connie still work at that photo place?" Ace asked when the constrictors were finally out of earshot.
Billy nodded slowly. "Think so, why?"
Ace put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a folded up photo. Stretching out his arm he offered it to him.
"Get her to reframe this."
Billy nodded again as he took it and unfolded it. The photo showed Angel and Chains smiling with two other older people.
"It's her parents, the guys broke it before so I took the photo when she was in the shower."
They all stood still as Ace turned to Billy. "Now." He ordered as Billy nodded and quickly took off down the street.
And with that Ace finally started walking down the street, back towards his own house.
"They told us why they moved here." Charlie mumbled as they all followed Ace along.
Ace nodded slowly.
"They told us who those guys were too." Jack mumbled as Ace nodded once more.
Pulling his cigarettes out of his pocket he lit one and continued to walk along.
"Did you know that she is-" Vince started but Eyeball stopped him by smacking him over the head and gesturing to Ace.
"He clearly already knows dipshit!" Eyeball snapped at him.
They all looked at Ace, who nodded and carried on walking.
"We're gonna help them aren't we?" Fuzzy asked quietly.
"Still not keen on the guys." Ace mumbled from behind his cigarette.
A smirk came to Eyeball's face. "But her?" He asked cheekily.
A small smile came to Ace's face. "Her," he started. "Her, we help."
The others nodded as they reached Ace's house. Charlie went to go across the street but Ace held him back, shaking his head.
"I thought we were-"
Ace shook his head again. "We let her come to us."
Eyeball scoffed. "Or you."
Ace smacked him over the head as they slowly went inside. Ace took one last glance at her house as he saw her smiling down at him from her window. He gave her one small smile as he went inside and shut the door.
Angel turned back from her window as she walked over and sat down on her bed.
Her brother and the others had given her the usual lecture when they saw the tattoo but she explained she was done hiding and she had to do this. They partly blamed Ace but she convinced them he had no say or decision in it.
After they'd rustled up some quick food Angel had retreated to her bedroom, where she saw Ace return home.
She began nibbling at her food as she shuffled about on her bed, once again pulling out her notebook and pen.
'She would never forget,
That for every wrong he did,
He made a right,
Saving her from the fight. He earned her brother's thanks,
A surprise to them all,
So safe in his arms, she did feel,
Maybe this feeling she had was real.
