Angel gently led Ace into his bedroom as he slowly shut the door behind them.

"You guys really are packing aren't ya?" Ace asked sarcastically as he sat down, watching as she slowly began to get changed.

Angel laughed and nodded. "I did tell you." She mumbled as she slipped a new shirt on, pulling Ace's button up on top.

Ace nodded slowly as he looked down at the gun in his hands. "It's funny." He mumbled. "My uncle used to have the exact same gun."

Angel turned as she tucked her shirt into her jeans and tied up Ace's shirt. "Did he?"

Ace nodded, Angel took a seat next to him as she looked down at the gun in his hands.

"He was very much like those guys out there, all about the high gang life, rumour even has it there's a stash around this town somewhere." He mumbled as he rolled the gun about in his hands.

"Would you ever want to find him again? At least then you'd have some family." Angel asked quietly.

Ace shook his head and placed his hand in hers, locking their fingers together. "I got all the family I need already."

A smile came to Angel's face as she leant forward and gently kissed his cheek. "So let's use my brother's line. Family protect family."

Ace nodded slowly. He knew he'd protect her with all he had.

"Though it may get kinda crowded round here now." Angel mumbled as she glanced around. The sound of all the cobras and constrictors outside.

Ace nodded in agreement.

"Wanna get away for one last escape?" Angel asked, a glint of excitement appearing in her eyes.

Ace shook his head. "And go where? It's meant to be dangerous for you."

Angel stood up as she gently pulled him up with her. "I've always been attracted to danger." She mumbled as she leant up, her lips hovering over his.

Ace growled slightly. "I'm going back to my original statement on you. You're a real piece of fucking work."

Angel laughed and nodded. "Yes. Yes I am. Now let's go, I want a milkshake and I'm sure this will be our first chaperoned date." She replied sarcastically.

Yet before Ace could even attempt to argue, she began pulling him out the room. They were of course greeted by a combination of both gangs as Ace let Angel pull him through outside. Chains stood with Knuckles as they talked quietly, pointing down both ends of the street.

"We're gonna go get a milkshake from the diner." She started, noticing Chains about to protest she quickly continued. "We'll take your crazy chaperones."

Chains shut his mouth silently. Turning to Knuckles he nodded as Knuckles quickly moved away.

"You sure that's wise?" He asked his little sister, giving a small warning glare to Ace.

Angel nodded and waved her free hand around. "Everyone's here now. It's hardly like there isn't a decent amount of protection."

Chains was once again about to protest but was interrupted by Knuckles reappearing, he had Eyeball, Billy, Hammer and 2 other unknown constrictors.

Angel glanced at them all in turn as she looked back at her brother. Chains sighed and nodded.

"Be fucking careful." He snapped as Angel nodded quickly.

"I will." She mumbled.

Chains shook his head as he glanced at Ace. "I wasn't talking to you Angel."

Ace nodded at Chains as he gripped Angel's hand tighter. He was first to pull her away as he gently led her down the street, away from the many gang members filling his and her house.

"It's like a royal fucking protection unit."

Angel laughed as Eyeball moved to her other side, nodding behind her at the others.

"Who's the kid with the scars?" He mumbled.

Angel glanced behind them, Joker was so rightly named as he had, what was known as a Chelsea smile, scars going from the edge of his lips up his cheeks.

"That's Joker, you know Hammer and Knuckles and the other is Skinner."

"Skinner?" Eyeball asked as they both turned back to the front, continuing their walk down the street.

Angel nodded slowly. "Skinned some guy's face off after a run in with my brother."

Eyeball let out a deep breath as he shook his head slowly. "You guys really are fucking psychos, you know that right?"

Angel shook her head. "Psycho's back at the house."

Eyeball's eyes widened slightly as his mouth dropped slightly.

Angel laughed and shook her head. "Relax! I'm kidding."

Eyeball relaxed slightly as they continued walking. Angel smirked as she leant closer to Ace.

"I'm not kidding." She whispered as she let his hand go so she could wrap her arm around his waist.

Ace laughed slightly as he draped his arm around her shoulder and tugged her closer.

"Best keep that one quiet." He mumbled down at her as he planted a kiss on her temple.

Angel nodded as she laughed and gently let her head rest on his shoulder as they carried on walking.

"So who else is there in this fucked up gang?" Billy asked as he appeared at Eyeball's side, glancing at Angel.

"Well besides the ones who came with me and those four," she mumbled gesturing her head back. "There's Acid, Gears, Knife, Blade, Choker, Legs, Hatchet, Fang, Shane-"

"Wait Shane?" Eyeball asked curiously. "Where's the nickname in that?"

Angel shook her head. "He hasn't got one yet." She shrugged against Ace's arm.

"Why'd they call him Legs?" Billy asked.

Yet before Angel could answer Hammer moved himself in between Angel and Eyeball. "He's got a thing with shooting people in the legs so they can't run away."

The cobras then listened as Hammer, Skinner and Knuckles talked through how each guy got their nickname. Turns out Joker wasn't much of a talker. A small hint of fear growing inside each as they heard tale after tale.

Eyeball glanced over at Angel and Ace, in their own little world as she leant up and gave him the softest of kisses. Never had he been happier Ace had decided not to hurt this girl and break her heart.
