A Merrill had her.

Angel finally got her milkshake. It was understandable that it was given on the house as the waitress saw the mass amount of men surrounding her and giving anyone a death glance, if they so much as looked at her.

Angel happily skipped out the diner, followed by the others. Turning to Ace she smiled as she offered him a sip. The constrictors watched as their girl returned to having an arm around his waist as they began back down the street.

"She's gonna stay here you know?" Hammer mumbled to Knuckles.

"She should be coming home with us?" Skinner asked as they slowly began following the cobras and Angel.

Joker grunted in response as he watched the way Eyeball and Billy were with her and the way she was with them.

"It's between her and her brother." Knuckles snapped as he pushed them aside, following slowly.

"If you say so." Hammer mumbled to Skinner and Joker as they followed behind.

Yet all three knew it wasn't between her and her brother anymore. There was no doubt in their minds Angel would want to stay with Ace and his cobras.

Joker silently looked around the street as both groups slowly merged into one and talked amongst themselves. Something didn't feel right to him.

His hands went to his pocket as he gripped the blade of his knife in one and his wire in the other. All constrictors carried their wire of course but each had an extra weapon. Seeing as he had his own Chelsea smile, he always deemed it fair that anyone who crossed him had their own too.

BANG!

Everyone spun around to face him as they saw his wide eyes before he fell to the floor.

The world seemed to stop as Ace's arms both instantly locked around Angel. Eyeball by her side as he couldn't help but stand as close as possible.

Knuckles, Hammer and Skinner all brought out their own guns and wire as someone turned the corner from the alley beside Joker's now bleeding dead body.

"Hey boys! Miss us?" He asked.

Knuckles took an immediate step forward as he brought his gun up, ready to return the favour and avenge Joker. The man quickly shook his head.

"Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you." He snapped sarcastically.

Knuckles scoffed. "Give me one good fucking reason why not." He snapped, the rage he was feeling over his dead friend building up and up.

The man only smirked as he took a small step closer. "You're surrounded." He whispered.

The others all glanced around as they saw many more men than men walk out onto the street. Guns bigger than theirs with faces scarier than theirs.

The man looked aside as he saw Ace and Eyeball holding Angel tight to them. "Hello sweetheart." He whispered,

Knuckles's grip tightened on the gun as he locked and loaded it, still aiming at this man's head.

"Ouch, touchy subject aye?" He asked with a laugh. "I mean we did our research, we know all about you and the Fletcher girl." He replied sarcastically.

The others watched as the new men slowly approached them.

"Does it hurt seeing her with them now?" He asked in a soft sweet tone before laughing. "It's gonna hurt more seeing her with us I'll tell you that now." He said with a laugh.

Glancing over back at Ace, Angel and Eyeball, he offered out his free hand. "Come on sweetheart, you don't belong with these men." He spoke softly.

Ace clutched her tighter as he glared at the man in front, their eyes locked as he took a small step closer.

"You..." he whispered.

Ace looked him up and down. "What about me?" He snapped.

The man shook his head quickly. "Nothing. Just remind me of someone. Now be a good boy and hand her over. She doesn't belong to you."

Ace scoffed as Eyeball shook his head. Billy moved himself so he was blocking the man's view of Angel, the new feeling of a gun in his hand giving him a confidence he hadn't had before.

The man shook his head slowly. "Wrong move there boy." He tutted under his breath.

Yet as he waved his hand to his men, giving them the go ahead, another gunshot rang out. And another. And another.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three of them dropped dead as they all turned and saw Chains walking closer, straight down the middle of the road, guns held up, the hint of smoke coming from their barrels.

Joker's killer was about to demand revenge but stopped as he saw the rest of the constrictor gang approaching them. He saw unknown faces but recognised the same 'cobra' word on their arms as the ones holding Angel. They'd got help.

"I think you'll find you're slightly outnumbered." Chains snapped as he walked closer, ignoring the many guns aimed at him.

"Ace!" Chains snapped. "You remember what we spoke about?"

Everything fell silent as Angel looked up at Ace.

What no-one had known was Ace and Chains had made a deal. Together, with no-one else, they agreed. They agreed that Ace's car would stay packed in case of this scenario. Chains had given Ace permission to take his sister anywhere else in the world, as long as he got her away from this. Chains had made Ace swear that as long as his sister remained safe, the cobras would all be under the protection of the constrictors. Ace had sworn that he would protect Angel with his life and reunite with them.

Ace nodded slowly as he looked over at Chains.

Chains gave him a small nod.

"Do it."

Angel glanced between them as she was just as clueless as everyone else. Yet before she, or anyone, could question it she felt Ace's hand grip hers tighter. He looked up at Eyeball and gave him a small smile.

Eyeball nodded slowly. He had no clue of the deal made between the leaders but he had an idea of where this was going. Eyeball gently patted Ace's arm, right over his cobra tattoo. The bond that connected the boys.

"Look after yourself." He mumbled as he knew what was coming.

Ace nodded as Chains snapped at him once more. "Now Merrill!"

The other unknown men all glanced at each other, shock and confusion flashing over their faces.

Gunfire instantly started up again as Ace yanked Angel down an alley. Angel tried fighting against it, begging and pleading with him as she wanted nothing more than to go help her brother but Ace refused.

As he ran with her down the back streets towards his house, Joker's killer smiled as he also slipped down the alley from which he first came from. They had her. A Merrill had her.
