Sanem was devastated. A part of her secretly wished for him to beg her forgiveness but as adamant and ego-centric as Jan was he wasn't going to do that. Now,either Sanem would come to him by her own will after being cleared or else she should happily settle somewhere. It didn't mattered to him he wasn't going to stop himself from loving her.
Sanem went to the beach where she and Jan had met for the first time. She sighed as tears rolled down her eyes. She took out her phone and punched her baba's number.
"Hello Baba......"
Her voice broke down as soon as she heard his voice.
Nihat Aydin was strained. All he knew was that Sanem happily spending her vacation. She herself had called him up and told him so.
"Princess,what's wrong?Why are you crying?"
"Baba, this whole world is a shit! Everyone so selfish and heartless. They don't care what others can feel."
Sanem hyperventilated. Nihat stayed quiet listening to her words because he knew how sensitive his daughter was. Being a motherless child amd almost grown up without anyone to pamper her she had developed a frail heart.
"But sweetheart-"
"Baba don't call me by that name. I hate that suffix."
She thundered hearing the word sweetheart from her baba's mouth.
Wasn't that how he called her?
"Baba,I am returning to home. I think I need to focus back on my work. I miss you too,"she stated calmly trying to soothe back her bundle of nerves which had been uprooted from there places throbbing in her forehead.
"That would be better. Your home needs you."
She was incensed all of a sudden,"Need need and need?I am just remembered whenever I am needed. Isn't it?"
Nihat couldn't make it out what was wrong all of a while. Before he could speak anything else she disconnected the call. He sighed sadly remembering how happy and easy his daughter used to be until her mother died and she hardened herself.
Sanem threw her phone on the bed before collapsing on the floor. She felt terrible to behave like that with her Baba. What was his fault? He waa just like her. She being his only family and last hope.
She got up and walked to the cupboard taking out her things. She started packing her luggage. Then her eyes shifted at her hand. She was carrying the ring given by Jan on her finger. Bole rose up her throat as she took it off and threw it out of the window.
Jan was strolling around the pool. His mind consumed by her thoughts. Loving someone wasn't easy. And he was a fool to fall for that trap. Now he was suffering. His brother was right. When you give a piece of your heart to someone, then it remains with that person. It becomes too hard to recover that piece.
When he was thinking about the events, his eyes caught something shinning on the ground. It was a ring!He picked it up and realisation dawned upon him. It was the same ring he had given to Sanem. He looked up at the building where she was staying.
Perhaps, she threw it off because of hatred. Looking at the ring, anger struck him.
"Oneday you will come back to me Sanem. I am not giving on you that easily...... Sweetheart."
