Alayna's P.o.v

I had swollen to the size of a blimp, this baby was going to be huge. Melody and I had moved in with Luke and his stupid fancy house. His mother came over all the time, which was slightly annoying, but I was grateful for the help. Luke had been acting extremely strange, but I refused to ask questions. I mean I was practically bumming off of him until I could go to get a job.

I was laying on Luke's couch as Melody played in the floor with some of her dolls. She had started school and was less than pleased the first day Luke left her alone there. She apparently threw a huge fit and cried for hours.

"Mummy?" Melody questioned

"Yes dear?"

"When is Daddy coming?"

"I have no clue." I sighed. I put my hand on my stomach as the baby moved around, kicking the crap out of my bladder. I was thrilled I was having another baby, but I was still worried sick that I wouldn't be a good enough Mum to Melody and the new baby.

I heard the front door open as I saw Luke's bright blonde hair making it's way over to me. He instantly pressed his lips to mine and then picked up Mel.

"Hello Melly." Luke said kissing her face repeatedly.

"Hi Daddy." She giggled.

"Ready to go to Grandma's?" Luke asked picking her bag off from the couch.

She shook her head up and down as I began pulling myself off the couch.

"Whoa babe be careful." Luke responded taking my hand.

"I'm fine." I breathed slightly annoyed. We were going to a sonogram to see the sex of the baby Which I was extremely excited about since I was tired of referring to the tiny human inside of me as 'baby'

We all walked off to the car as I struggled greatly to sit in the front seat.

After dropping Melody off Luke and I finally began our long drive to the doctors office.

 "So what do you think it is?" Luke asked as he tapped his hand to the radio.

"I think it's a girl." I said placing a hand on my swollen stomach.

"Well I think it's a boy." Luke replied.

"Is that right?" I asked arching one of my eyebrows.

'Yup and when my son is born we shall name him Fox."

"Fox." I said letting the name settle with me for a moment. "I like Fox, but when it's a girl we name her Violet deal?"

"Fine, but when our son's name is Fox , just remember this bet." He said making us both laugh as we arrived at the doctors office.

I very carefully exited the car as Luke guided me into the building. I checked in with the lady behind the glass who said Doctor Gates would be with me shortly.

Luke and I sat for 20 minutes or so when finally a nurse in all blue came out and spoke my name. We walked down a couple of corridors until we were led to a tiny exam room.

"Okay so uhm are you as nervous as me?" Luke asked wiping his sweaty palms on his jeans.

"I doubt it since I've done this before." I said slightly laughing as him so flustered.

The door creaked open to reveal a very small women with light brown hair who was in her mid 40's. She smiled warmly at me and addressed herself as Doctor Gates.

"I will just put this gel on your stomach and look on the screen to see your baby." She said smiling warmly. "Well there is two babies, a boy and I believe a girl. Oh yeah thats definitely a girl."

"Holy oh my two? " Luke asked his eyes glowing.

"Yup two babies." Doctor Gates said smiling at him. She wiped my stomach and helped me stand up.

We had just arrived at Luke's Mu's house, I struggled completely getting up her five million stairs, but didn't complain once. I opened the door slowly as Luke was very slowly making his way up the stairs.

"Mummy!" Melody yelled from the living room as she latched onto my legs. I put my arm down to her side as I smiled up at her. Luke slowly entered the house as Melody just smiled up at him, almost as if she sensed his fatigue.

Luke took my hand and guided me over to the living room as I placed a hand over my stomach. The baby was kicking rapidly and something just didn't feel right. I went against my instinct and ignored it.

"So what did you guys find out?" Liz asked as she propped Melody on her knee.

"Well we found out it's twins." Luke said smiling widely.

"Oh my gosh." She gasped.

"A boy and a girl." Luke continued seeing the happy shock on his mothers face.

"That's amazing news." Andy replied.

"So any name ideas?" Liz questioned.

"Well Alayna and I made a bet that if it was a boy we would name it Fox and if it was a girl we would name it Violet." Luke said.

"Fox and Violet Hemmings." Liz played around with the names and a small grin began to form over her lips. "That sounds lovely."

"So Mummy had two babies?" Melody asked showing Liz two fingers.

"Thats right."

"Thats a lot of babies." Melody said making everyone giggle loudly.
