Lorelei had been stuck here for a week and was barely settled in. Whenever she got over one thing, another one popped up, right in her face. She was starting to think that saying yes was a bad idea (big shocker). Her plan to escape had been futile. Since no one trusted her yet, they kept her away from all doors and windows which sounded impossible but was really easy to do when the enemy knew the terrain better than she did.
Every morning she woke up and got ready using the supplies she had been given (the clothes were atrocious), and then she went to the main hall for breakfast. When she first arrived, it seemed everyone was staring at her, wondering who the newcomer was, but the stares she received had become a lot less. The lack of stares did not make the fact that she was new any less apparent seeing as she was yet to talk to someone.
She found herself in a secluded spot at a table and dug into the food. Say what you want about gangs, but their food was delicious. It reminded her of the delicious breakfast Harry used to cook for her, and she wondered if she would ever get that again. The loving smiles, delicious food, and overall happiness. Everything she used to have with Harry until she ruined it. The thought put a dampen on her mood, and the rest of her food felt like dry sandpaper in her mouth. Way to go, Lorelei!
She shoveled the eggs in her mouth, wishing she had her phone to keep her company. Lorelei knew no one would be dumb enough to give her one if she asked, so she kept her mouth shut, hoping her compliance would be rewarded. But she was going crazy! If she didn't get her hands on something to do in the next twenty-four hours, she would actually die of boredom.
Lorelei trudged back to her room, flopping down on the bed with a long sigh. How could anyone live in these conditions? Being trapped in a building with no friendly faces around. Well, she supposed that was just her case since the others seemed to be able to come and go as they pleased, and they all seemed to know each other well.
Lorelei sat up abruptly as the thought crossed her mind. Maybe that was the way. All she had to do was pretend she loved being here and go along with whatever they had to say and she would be able to come and go as she pleased. And she would be able to see her friends again. Be free again! Lorelei had to give herself a pat on the back. That was a pretty smart plan. Now all she had to do was go along with it and hope that someone fell for it.
That should be easy enough... right?

It was Niall's birthday, but no one was celebrating.
Liam trudged into the room where everyone was lounging from the kitchen. He had just laid out the cake he bought from the store on the counter. He wanted to call the group, but he was not sure if anyone was in the mood for celebrating. He wasn't even sure if anyone remembered, hell, he wasn't even sure if Niall remembered.
He looked over at his friends, they all looked miserable, and he could only imagine he looked the same. Lorelei had been missing for a week, and they were all taking it pretty hard, but Harry was the worst of them all.
