Lorelei felt the warmth of her boyfriend disappear as he got off the bed. She blindly reached for him, grasping his hand in hers. "Don't go," She mumbled, peeking out of one eye. The brunette's lips twitched up for a second as he looked at her fondly, it was so fast that one could have missed it.

"I'm not going anywhere," He assured her. "Just going to the piano, okay?" Lorelei nodded, smiling as she felt him kiss her forehead softly. She heard the soft padding of his feet on the fuzzy carpet and the creak of the door before going back to sleep.

A few hours later, her eyes opened blearily and she sat up groggily. Suddenly, she realized that she slept without nightmares for the first time and her face bloomed into a smile. That smile was still there when she rushed to the bathroom to get ready for the day and when she stumbled upon Harry in the living room, sitting at the piano and playing a soft tune.

Lorelei stealthily moved over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing the top of his curls. "Hi," She breathed.

Harry moved his head up so he could see her and she was met with his dimpled smile. "Hey," He replied back. "Sleep well?"

"Yeah," She nodded frantically. "I had no nightmares." Her grin became wider, as did Harry's.

"Really?" He asked. "I'm so proud of you! Come here." He turned around so he could properly face her and pulled her into a hug, peppering kisses along her neck as Lorelei giggled. "I love you so much. I hope you know that." He looked at her seriously. Her cheeks turned rosy as they lifted into another deep smile.

"I know, and I love you too," She told him. "So much," She added, eliciting a chuckle from Harry. "What are you working on?"

His cheeks tinged red at her question as he mumbled shyly. "It's kinda embarrassing."

"Ok, now I have to know." Lorelei took a seat next to him, peering up at him with excited eyes. Her ecstatic energy was contagious enough that he finally gave in, turning his face away as his ears turned red and spoke.

"I'm making a song... about you," He said and Lorelei's eyes widened. It seemed the blushing was contagious because she, too was sporting a crimson face as her mouth dropped open.

"Wait, are you serious?" She asked and he nodded. "Can I hear it?" He nodded again.

"It's called Cherry," He grinned cheekily.

"My girl, she's a firecracker

A force to be reckoned with

Never met anyone like her

No one could live up to it

I call her baby

I call her lover

My darling, you and i

We could last forever

Started on the rooftop (cherry, cherry)
