Arabella was running through the forest carrying her two month old infant. Behind her, Ketch was chasing her through the forest. She hated him with a passion especially after what he did to her. And when he found out that she was pregnant immediately he wanted her and the infant dead. Carrying her child in her arms, she ran through trees and was hit in the face with branches. The infant cried hysterically since he was scared and didn't understand what was going on.

"You can't run from me forever Arabella! I will find you and that child!" Ketch called out to her. Arabella didn't want Ketch to lay a single finger on him. But when she arrived at a clearing and searched for a place to hide her child.

"It's okay Dean," Arabella said. "Don't worry mommy will be okay, I need to keep you safe." Arabella searched and heard water flowing, probably a river. She raced over and discovered a run down house, nearby she spotted a small river which she used to clean her hands. Afterwards she carried her son inside and placed him inside of a nearby crib. The house was a mess and the crib smelled worse than feet, but Ketch would never think to look for Dean here. Now she just needed to find someplace safe for him, Dean cried about being scared and his mother kissed him on the forehead. She told him that everything would be alright and that he had to stay quiet. Dean didn't understand why but he did what she said without question. Arabella said she loved him more than anything in the world and begged him to not forget about her. She placed a bracelet with a locket charm on the young infant's blanket and left her infant there. Dean grabbed her hand unsure what her words meant and blinked. She cried before giving him one last hug before running off back into the woods; it wasn't long before Ketch found her and she drew him away from Dean by running off deeper into the woods. Ketch followed her unaware of her trick and shot her once he began to tire, before she died he asked her one last question.

"Where is the child?" Ketch demanded.

"You will never...find him," she declared. "He's safe from you...you...monster..." Her eyes closed after that and she was dead.

"I guess I'll have to track down the bastard myself." Ketch said, kicking her corpse away. In all his years of being a British Men of Letters, he had never failed and no useless child was going to change that. Miles away, Dean was still in the crib waiting for his mother to return, unaware of her fate, so he began crying since that was his only way of calling out to her. When she didn't come Dean's cries became louder, and a man hiking nearby heard him. John Winchester was a new father himself so he recognized the sound, at first he thought he was hearing things. But when he noticed the house and heard the crying again, he knocked the door down and found the infant inside.

"How did you get in there?" John asked picking Dean up. His face was all red and stained with tears, John also noticed that the baby was hungry. His wife was a nurse so maybe she could check him for any injuries. "Just hang on there little guy, you'll be alright," John looked in the crib and saw that there was a bracelet lying on the dirty mattress. He turned the bracelet around while keeping the infant in his arms and saw that there was a name. Dean. "Well, Dean, let's get you back home. I don't want you out here any longer than you were." Feeling comforted and after a lot of crying, Dean closed his eyes and fell to sleep.
