"lastly, we'll need to put powdered sugar on top," Trey explained, already putting on the powdered sugar.
"We're done~!" Ace and Grim shouted excitedly.
"Hooray.." Deuce said, perplexed.
Ace leaned in close to you and whispered, "did something happen to this guy when you went shopping?"
You took a glance at Deuce who was still mumbling to himself, "just give him some space for now, he's probably still in shock."
Deuce stared at his hand, "all this time.. I've believed it for sixteen years..."
"Who knew that making desserts would take this long? I'm so tired," Ace then slouched as he sat on a nearby chair.
The kitchen door was then burt open with force as Cater came in.
"Nice work everyone~ Did you finish the tarts?" He chattered, going over to observe the tarts.
"The decorations look so cute~" He then took out his phone and began taking pictures of it.
"It's totally 'grammable', let me take a pic~" although he had already taken a lot of pictures before.
"Ah, were have you been?" Ace finally asked.
"I just came to check up on my cute little juniors, who were doing there best to make some tarts~" Cater declared as he twiddled with his hair before laughing. "You look so tired~!"
"Doing things you're not used to can be tiring. That's why sweets can help," Trey added. "Go and help yourselves with the tarts."
Everyone cheered as they lined up with plates already in their hands.
You only came here just to eat, didn't you Cater-senpai?" Ace sent the older male a doubtful look. Cater simply chuckled, waving his fork as he spoke.
"Let's just enjoy this~" He said before taking a bite.
Grim drooled over his serving, "oooh, it looks so good! The chestnuts look so appetizing along with the ice cream!" He then took a bit and couldn't resist to hide his joy.
Ace and Deuce began eating their servings.
"Amazing! It's better than the ones you buy at stores," The blue haired male complemented.
"It's sweet, but it's not super overpowering. My mouth feels as though it's in a field of chestnuts, ya know?"
Ace grinned, "there he goes again."
Trey chuckled seeing all your reactions. "Glad you like them."
Before Cater was about to bite the last of his tart, he stopped, snapping his fingers to get trey's attention. "Oh yeah, do that for them Trey."
Trey looked confused for a moment before finally managing to remember. "That? Oh you mean that."
Watching their interactions Ace had joined in, "what do you mean by that?"
"You guys, what are your favorite foods?" Trey asked asked you all.
The three dorks pondered before answering one by one.
"Mine is cherry pie and hamburger," Ace first replied.
"Mine is canned tuna," Grim added. "Oh! And cheesey omelet, grilled meat, pudding, and~" the monster just continued listing more.
"If I were to choose I'd probably pick omurice."
"Mine is grilled rum meat with diablo sauce~" Cater answered next.
After they answered they glanced at you.
Seeing that you were still thinking Ace teased you, "you don't remember?"
