The first one Jack had challenged was you. Ace and Deuce gave you a quick pat on the shoulder for good luck, while Grim was practically ecstatic.

"Uh.. can I pass?"

The wolf like male merely glared at you, clenching his fist. And before you knew it, he was already lunging at you. Shocked, you quickly managed to avoid his fist by bending backwards, doing your best to keep your balance.

And at first, you had continued managing to evade his punches, but when he decided to change his angle and position, you were caught off guard.

"Urgh!" His punch had practically flung you to the ground a few feet away from them. You remained lying on the ground, curling up into yourself as you were just glad it was finally over.

Grim had gone after you while Ace began to fight, ultimately being defeated as well. Though, he lasted a little longer.

"Oi! Are you okay?!" The monster began waving his paw over your eyes. Tugging on your sleeve to get you to stand up while you gasped for breath.

"This'll definitely leave a bruise," you muttered as you managed to slowly sit up. And in your peripheral vision, Ace was also standing up with the support of his knees.

And now, it was finally Deuce's turn to challenge Jack. The current situation at the moment really made you believe that he must of been quite violent back in the past. The two had proceeded to go all out, refusing to hesitate in any punch they pulled.

"ORAA!"

"ORAA!"

It went on like this for quite a while before they both had to catch their breath. Gazing into each other's eyes with rivalry. "You aren't that bad with those punches."

"You too.. You're pretty good."

Grim's eyes shined in amazement. "Your punch hit me straight right in the heart!"

"Aren't you guys getting to caught up with this?" Ace groaned. "I don't care anymore... My body hurts.."

You nodded lightly in agreement, no longer wanting to partake in fighting Jack anymore.

"Alright. My conscience is clear. I'll tell you everything." Jack announced, rolling his shoulders while Ace stared at the male in disbelief.

"How did this clear your conscience exactly?"

Jack merely ignored the ginger's comment and crossed his arms with a sigh. "I already made up my mind. What I'm about to do is betraying my own dorm." The wolf then clenched his jaw and threw his fist up in rage. "But I can't put up with this anymore!"

You three jumped, startled by his sudden yelling.

"A fight is testing how far you can go by challenging tough opponents. I've put myself through the wringer to see how far I can go in this tournament."

You noted that Jack seemed to have quite a burning passion for stuff like this.

"Cowardly tricks make me nauseous! There's no meaning in victory like that!" The hope you had was once again crushed by the next words he spoke. "I wanted to rise my own power to claim victory at the top!"

Ace scratched his head. "This guys a pain in the ass."

"I get you! I really get it! That feeling!" Deuce excitedly sayed. You and Grim merely sighed at the scene unfolding in front of you.

"We've got our own pain the ass," Grim said bluntly as you nodded. He then questioned Jack. "By the way, what's that Ruggie guy's unique magic anyway?"

"Ruggie-senpai's unique magic is something that makes another person move exactly like him," Jack answered the monster while you also listened quietly.
