Quick steps echoed through the hall as you ran down it towards the Headmaster's office. Ace and Deuce weren't that far behind you while you held onto Grim. Only further making all the running seem to be taking forever.
Regardless, you just hoped to reach Crowley. Knowing that he was at least one of the only people that could help you... Or at least being near him would scare Riddle away. And that's all you really needed right now until you could figure something else out.
You reached your (s/c) hands out to knock on the door to the office. Only for the A-Deuce duo to run into you and fall inside. Proving to be a little weird seeing the door was unlocked. Yet as you stood back up, the Headmaster wasn't even in the room.
The two painted for breath before they were able to stand with you. Ace furrowed his brows. "Haa, haa... why do I have to suffer all this?" The ginger complained tiredly.
"Haa... The Headmaster doesn't seem to be here now..."
You stood in the room for an awkward moment. Trying to grasp what you may have to do now. There was really no logical way to find Crowley. At least not without accidentally running into the redhead. So what now...?
"Did he mention having anything important going on today?" You finally queried with the two. Letting Grim hop down from your arms so he could do whatever it was he wanted. "Maybe he isn't too far from here?"
"I don't know." Ace shrugged.
"He always does this." Grim crossed his arms.
Deuce noted "Professor Crewel would have mentioned something if it was important."
This had caused you to sigh. Trying not to let this worry you. But that was a little too late now, you supposed. Especially with Riddle being most of your thoughts. You were already sick of this.
"You're right... Okay," You started with a mumble. Turning back to leave the office. "We'll just keep looking."
|Time Skip|
Somehow you found yourself back on the main street wasn't too much trouble. Mainly for the reason that you had come to notice that it wasn't just the Headmaster. All the other students were nowhere to be seen. Though, you believed someone would have to be out here.
"Where is everyone?" Grim questioned.
You paused near the Great Seven Statues to turn back to the three. The school campus appearing to be more eerie than ever. You almost couldn't remember a time when it was this quiet.
Ace gave a mere shrug. "They're most likely to have gone back to their dorms by now."
"..it is getting late."
Sighing, your (e/c) eyes flickered across the main street for a moment longer. Not quite believing that everyone would be staying in their dorms. It wasn't that entirely late.
And for this reason, you only questioned further on what the fuck was going on.
"Some people should still be around, though."
The blue haired male deadpanned. Knowing there was no way to give any reassurance. You had already made up your mind that something just felt wrong.
You couldn't exactly decipher what it was. But the atmosphere had become weird, like something was missing. And it wasn't just there being no one around. Even if the silence had become excessive between your group.
That was when you finally realized what it was you were trying to find now. Nott just the other students... But Grim.
"That furball's gone!" Ace yelled out.
