Slowly, you could feel yourself start to stir once again now. A throbbing pain invading your senses as you forced your eyes to open. Being met with a dimly lit room full of other beds. You soon came to the assumption that it must be the infirmary. Though, you were still a bit confused on why you were here.

"Hey, (Y/n)'s awake!" Grim suddenly cheered. Already perched on your bed as he stared over at you. Leading you to soon find that the others were here as well.

"...Huh? What happened?"

Ace crossed his arms and stepped closer to your bed. Appearing a bit perplexed now. "At the start of the second half, Grim threw the disc right at your noggin and knocked you out. You don't remember?" He explained. Your expression growing more confused, further proving his question.

Of course, that was until you did remember. Sending a stern gaze towards the monster,  who merely grinned at you. "That hurt like hell, you know.."

"I was trying to seal our victory with a shot from way downfield..." The monster whined.

"You amateurs gotta work on your disc control." Jack shook his head in dismay. Placing his hands on his hips now as he looked at the group.

"I'm just glad you're awake," Deuce commented softly and put a hand on your shoulder. "You were out so long that I was starting to worry the hit had caused some real damage."

You gave him a reassuring smile before  asking. "Is the tournament  over then?"

"Yeah, you even missed the closing ceremonies! They're taking everything apart right now." Ace explained.

Raising an eyebrow at that. You grew curious to how the game had played out in the end if you had been out for that long. "Well then, which dorm won?"

"The grand champion was Diasomnia House," Leona was the one to answer first. Sighing as you finally looked over at him as he layed out on an infirmary bed.

Ruggie groaned and placed his arms behind his head, seeming a bit disappointed himself. "In the end there was nothing we could do..." He placed his hands behind his back. Adding on. "It certainly didn't help that we took a beating from every other dorm on the way to the finals. What a miserable tournament this year was."

Nodding, you supposed you should have assumed such a thing. Especially if Diasomnia had won every year prior.

"Housewarden! Ruggie-senpai!" Jack suddenly exclaimed and crossed his arms.

Leona tsked at that. "Bein' stuck in an infirmary bed for anything other than a mid-day nap is about as lame as it gets."

"And what's worse? Not a single Diasomnia student ended up here," the hyena like male grumbled. His ears shifting downward as he sat up.

"They definitely sound strong," you commented. Ace immediately nodding.

"I've heard the rumors, but man seeing Diasomnia's Housewarden in action... that dude does NOT mess around."

"Yeah, he was incredible. You wouldn't have beleived it, (Y/n)!" Deuce chimed in.

"I suppose I really did miss a lot." You sighed while Ace continued.

"Now I know why everyone thinks he's invincible. I can't even imagine taking him down."

Jack sent a look towards Ace. "And with that attitude you never will. You've let him beat you before you even face him," He declared a bit angrily. "I haven't,  though. Next year, I'm taking Diasomnia down. And I'll win by given it everything I got."

"Does 'everything' happen to include your capacity for evil?" Leona questioned.

You sighed at the lion's words. Had he really learned nothing from all the things that had happened today. "That doesn't sound like remorse to me."
