The next day the two of you had been captured by the two dorks and were forced to help them clean up the Tea Garden. Both you and Grim grumble as you began to trim the bushes, while Trey and Cater did the rose trees. Both Ace and Deuce snickered at your misfortune to which you responded with an annoyed expression, making them stop and act like they didn't do anything.
A few days later, the unbirthday party had finally arrived. Grim shook you awake as you sat up, not happy with the amount of sleep you had gotten.
"Hurry up, (Y/n)! The food might run out by the time we get there!" Grim demanded, placing his paws on his waist as you sighed and get up to get ready.
You two soon arrived at the hall of mirrors, wearing the clothes you had worn at the last unbirthday party. Strolling over to the Heartslabyul mirror and swiftly going through it. You then began walking through the large rose maze which to not be that much of a problem. Stopping at the gates of the Tea Garden, you see Ace and Deuce waiting for you two.
"Finally you guys arrived!" Ace grinned. "And You managed to get through the maze by yourselves!"
"As if we'd get lost so easily!" Grim countered.
Before the two could start arguing, the blue haired male spoke up. "Let's go inside, the party is about to start."
Once the gates had opened, your group entered. The Tea Garden was back to the way it looked before. The tables were set up like the last unbirthday party. The other residents of Heartslabyul where there. And unlike the last unbirthday party, today had a nice atmosphere.
The trumpets blared as the seniors stood in front of the other residents.
"Announcing our great leader, The Crimson Ruler. Dorm Leader, Riddle Rosehearts."
"Dorm Leader Riddle! Hooray!" The residents loudly cheered, energetic. You and Grim joined in, cheering happily. You ended up clapping in excitement before whistling loudly.
The whole garden went silent as the residents stared at you awkwardly. You grinned sheepishly, putting a hand on the nape of your neck and softly chuckled. "..sorry."
Riddle inspected the rose trees and tables before nodding. "The roses are red, the table clothes are white. A perfect unbirthday party."
"Inside the teapot is there a sleeping-" the redhead paused for a moment before continuing. "Ah.. Actually, it would be fine with out it."
"You don't have to change everything right away." Trey said. After the incident, he had been doing his best to help Riddle change for the better.
"Instead of putting jam on the mouse's nose, try putting it on a scone." He suggested.
"Change. It's worthless without to it would be nice to have, right?" The senior glanced towards Riddle who was currently holding his chin as he pondered before smiling.
"Yeah, your right."
Ace's shoulders dropped. "In the end, we had to handle getting this garden cleaned up and all the prep work."
"Don't worry about that. In the end, Dorm Leader being back after a full recovery is the most important thing right now."
Cater appeared behind them, holding on to his phone. "The garden is looking super photogenic, so I'm super satisfied."
The ginger then began taking pictures of the events, more specifically, the Tea Garden.
Grim drooled over the delicious looking food on the table. "Yeah! I'm ready to eat all of this food!"
You simply chuckled at Grim's excitement to eat.
"Ok~ let's get to.." Cater was about to take another picture when all of a sudden, Riddle shouted making you all freeze.
"Just a moment!"
"What?" Cater uttered as he watched Riddle inspect the rose tree nearby. His eyes narrowed.
"Those white roses.." Riddle trailed off. The two dorks flinched as they look at each other.
"We missed some?!" Ace whispered yelled to Deuce.
Cater was already panicking as he stared at them, stammering over his words. "Ace, Deuce, y-you said you painted them all!"
"This is our fault?!" The dark blue haired male exclaimed.
"Riddle this.." Trey was also nervous as he was about to talk to him.
The redhead snorted upon seeing their reactions. "I'm just joking. I'm not going to punish you for one or two roses."
They extroverted senior gasped joyfully. "R-Really?! Riddle's so lenient!"
Riddle stood from his seat. "It'll go faster if we work together."
Ace's eyes practically bulged out. "You still want them painted?!"
"Wouldn't it be fun? At least that can be part of your dorm's tradition by painting roses during an unbirthday party." You commented while also trying to keep Grim from trying to eat the food.
"Don't worry. But really.. Yeah. You have changed, Riddle."
"I can't wait another second! Let's get this painting over with and party!" Grim cheered while hopping off his seat.
Riddle gave a small smile and turned to the other residents. "Then everyone, are you ready?"
The residents all answered in unison. "Yes Dorm Leader!"
Soon all of the residents and your group left the Tea Garden to begin painting the rose trees.
Trey then used his unique magic to create party poppers with his card suits. The residents had already grouped with their respective friends and acquaintances as they paint the rose trees.
Before Riddle could start, Cater asked him, "when was the last time you painted the roses, Riddle?"
His eyes slightly widened as he thought back to the time he last painted the roses. With a small frown, he answered the seniors question. "Not sure. I've left it to the other residents since becoming Dorm Head.."
Cater beamed and hung his arm over Riddle's shoulder. "It's fun every once in a while. We've got to manage the first years though."
His eyes then trailed over to Ace and Deuce who both raised an eyebrow.
"Are you talking about us..?" Ace asked.
"I've been painting roses for days, so I'm definitely better than Riddle at this kind of stuff!" Grim proudly stated.
Riddle smirked and chuckled at Grim's words. "I'll show you my skill."
He held his staff which you hadn't even realized he was holding it.
"Has he been holding that this whole time..?" You questioned aloud.
"Here's your paint brush, (Y/n)~" Cater held out the paint brush and a bucket of red paint towards you. "You know the drill."
He winked before going over to the others. Looking around for trees that the two dorks missed. You then found one tree with unfinished painted white roses.
"You guys didn't even finish some of them.." You blankly say, taking the lid off the bucket of paint and dipped the brush before getting to work on painting.
