By the time Sonic had processed everything a week had gone by. He acted fine around his friends, so fine not even Amy picked up on him. He kept replaying the scenario in his head, trying to make sense of it.
He wasn't all too concerned with Shadows accidental boner, things like that happen to everyone.
His biggest question was why the everloving hell did Shadow attempt to seduce him. It made no sense story-wise.
He kept comparing it to badly written fanfiction.
"Stuck in a box? Really?" He fumbled with these questions but all they did was raise more questions. He felt there was only one way to get an answer, and that was to go confront Shadow.
Once he felt prepared to handle it with humor and sass, he made efforts to contact Shadow. He screamed his name into thin air, searched him up on social media, asked Rouge if she knew his whereabouts ("that handsome? I never know where he is.")
After a day of miserable attempts, Sonic sighed, "I don't even know how to get ahold of him." He groaned and zipped around his shack a few times, deep in thought. So deep he hadn't even noticed the red and black rival had been standing in his doorway.
"Surely no one is this dense."
Sonic abruptly stopped and clambered towards the entrance, filling with determination.
"I've got questions buddy, you better give me some answers." He raised a finger at Shadow.
Shadow taunted, "and if I don't?" He stepped towards Sonic who's steely face quickly reddened.
"Listen, Hedgehog-" he sighed, "I have a proposition."
Sonic shook his head, "answers first."
"The proposition contains answers."
Sonic studied him for a moment, then gestured for them to sit on the couch, nodding suspiciously.
Once they both sat, Sonic crossed his legs, "go on."
Shadow furrowed his brow and turned away from his blue foe.
"I don't know exactly how to say it."
"Then say it fast, I'll hear it."
Shadow took a breath, "Ididn'tthinkIcouldhaveerectionsaftertheexperimentsbecausewheneverItriednothinghappenedbutlastweekwhenyouwerepressedagainstmeithappendandItriedtodoitlaterthatdaybutcouldn'tsoIwanttoseeifyou'rethereasonwhy." He looked at Sonic.
"Got it!" Sonic winked.
"Did you actually?"
"Not even a little bit."
Shadow sighed, "slower, then," he braced himself, "I can't, you know," he signaled to his crotch, "and then it happened with you, and now it hasn't happened since so, my question is-"
"No. Absolutely not." Sonic made a barfing sound.
"Full grown but childish. Always lighthearted even in the weirdest of times."
Sonic winced, "you're talking crazy. You and me? No way. It's.. wrong. What happened was an accident and we don't need to do anything other than get it off our chests."
Shadow glared at Sonic.
"You're a good hedgehog, not a good liar though."
"What do you mean?" Sonic uncrossed his legs and sat forward, almost challenging Shadow.
The other simply saw this as an invite and lunged forwards, pushing Sonic deep into the couch, pressing close to him.
"H-hey- I said no-"
Shadow breathed deeply and grabbed Sonic by the face, nose to nose he said, "Eggmans lair has a lot of reflective surfaces," Sonic whined, "that means I saw everything from your side to. Try to hide it all you want, you were harder than I was, pressed against that glass."
Sonic pushed Shadow away, who allowed it and moved himself off Sonic. Sonic grabbed a pillow so fast Shadow didn't see it until it was rested in his lap.
"That was.. involuntary." He mumbled.
"Fine. But then what are you trying to hide now?" He pressed his hand down on the pillow and Sonic whimpered.
"Hehe.. a terrible liar. But I won't force you to do anything." Shadow turned towards the door, "I'll come back tomorrow for an honest answer." He vanished.
Sonic was panting, completely caught off guard. All he could think to do was run, but he had to calm down first.
Eggmans grandma, he thought to himself.
No way am I allowing him anywhere near me.
