The day is finally here. The crowd roared with excitement and screams as I slowly walk over to Elliot, The Ruler of Mushroom Kingdom, and shook her hand. The day of celebration, Today will be the day Gravitron, my city, And The Mushroom Kingdom ally once and for all. This is a great day, As we now have a new member of the Alliance, Along With Alex, Jordani, And TombStone. "Thank you. Thank you for this opportunity in helping everyone out" Said Elliot while shaking my hand, "Please, It's what we do" I responded firmly. I stood in the stand while facing the crowd with a grin on my face. I'd never thought we Would've recruited any more people for the Alliance. I look over at some of the alliance leaders aligned up near the stand, and they were all clapping for me, no wait, for us. I grabbed the microphone, "Thank you, Thank you all for joining us today, to welcome the recruit of the Alliance, we are very happy to have all of you here celebrating with us." I yelled into the mic. The crowd roared with excitement again. I was about to say something else but everything happened in a second, An explosion, and screaming. I looked around, I felt something and fell to the ground, My ears were ringing so hard. I looked around while on the ground and saw that the hand I was holding the microphone in was gone, and there was blood everywhere. Elliot was the first person I saw run towards me. I couldn't make out what she said, My ears were still ringing. I was coughing out a lot of blood. Everything slowly went blank as Elliot sat me up. She was the last person I saw for a while.

I'm working on this new machine, I call it "Atomizer." The idea behind it is that it's a tool that uses electromagnetic discharges to disassemble things at the atomic level. I've got the tv on right next to me with the news on, I heard they had a blast in the day of celebration, sucks that I couldn't make it. I was working on the last part for the Atomizer when the news person took on a more serious tone. "Now for another subject that could be debated. On the day of celebration, What exactly happened to Kris, The mayor of Gravitron. Was it an assassination attempt or a malfunction? Now sadly Kris is still in a coma, We have not heard anything from the doctors yet but they said the explosion was fatal." I stopped working on the part and focused on the TV, not caring that sparks were flying everywhere from the unfinished prototype. "Now some people have said that it could've been that the microphone was rigged to explode while Kris was speaking, Others say that Elliot was the target. But officers are still searching for clues on what it could've been." Then my phone went off, someone was calling me. I quickly grabbed it and looked at the caller ID. It's Kris. It went to my head so quickly that I didn't even bother asking if he was ok once I picked it up, "YO, the HELL happened out there?" Was the first thing I yelled onto the phone. "Beats me, dude. I didn't even know it was an explosion. But I'm good. I'm calling you from my bad hand to ask you something important" He said over the phone. "Yeah what is it?" I replied while looking around the room and finally turning off the part I was working on. "I need a hand." He said in a very serious tone. "Yeah sure, what do you need me to do?" I said while turning off the TV as well, The news host switched the topic to something I didn't even bother hearing. "No like, I need a hand. Not as in help. The explosion blew it off." he said. I stayed silent for a bit. I've never programmed a functioning hand that a person could use. "Uhm. Look I'll try my best and once I'm done I'll Give it to you. Just focus on recovering. Have you talked to anyone else?" I said trying to switch the topic and trying not to think of the damage the explosion probably caused him. "Just Elliot and you, Elliot was apologizing a lot and didn't give me time to talk to her and tell her that I'm doing just fine. So I called my best Inventor and Mechanic. Look I'll pay you fully. I need a hand." He said, he stopped halfway through to cough though. "Don't even worry about it. It's on me." I said while looking into my boxes of metals and other materials. "Thanks, man. I owe you one. I'll see you soon." he said before hanging up on me. I started to immediately plan everything out for the hand. I need something that will connect to his nervous system for it to properly function like a regular hand. I wasn't going to bother calling the other leaders of the alliance that didn't go to the Celebration because they probably were all watching the news too. So I just minded my business and scrapped the Tranquilion, Because I have something more important to do. I need to help my friend.
