As Elliot was looking for the answers to all her questions, she couldn't help but come across someone familiar.
As I walked down this hidden place I threw my sword down and turned on some lights. "It's been a while since I've been here. Ever since I stopped time traveling." I looked over at a table as I picked up a picture; It was of Me and Mari when we were young..great, another thing to remember about her dumbass. I ripped the paper up and burned it with my power. "I'm not exactly time traveling but I remember I can see in the present before it happens too. I can't do too much or I'll pass out." I said as I sat on the table. Skittles got off my shoulder to make me concentrate as I started to breathe slowly and making sure nothing distracted me. A few seconds later, my eyes opened and they were completely white. I started to float off the table. I could see so many things flashing by quickly in my vision. I wanted to panic, but I didn't. I needed to do this. For Kris. Everything started to float up with me and soon enough I stopped and everything fell. Even me. I bolted up and looked around as I started to breathe heavily. Skittles walked over to me and nuzzled my arm. I pet her gently as I took a deep breath in and out and got up. I picked up Skittles while I was getting up and set her on the table I used to be sitting at. "I know what's going on but..who was that trying to attack Kris?" I appeared in a mirror in front of me and stared at one of my eyes, It was still white. "Shit. That's going to wear out soon. I hope no one notices." I grabbed my sword from the floor and put it on my waistband once again as I looked around. "It's messier than it used to be. Eh, too bad." I turned the lights off as I climbed a ladder up to the trapdoor, opening it and getting out of the hidden spot. I was going to call Kris to tell him the news but I don't want to cause him trouble. He's already been through enough. "Maybe I could surprise him..hm. I dunno-" I locked the trap door and used my magic to make it disappear again. My wings starts to appear and I looked up at the sky. It's still dark and the stars and moon were the only things that lit things up around here. I picked up Skittles as I flew up above the trees.
A few hours went by, and something seemed off. I heard something behind me as I turned around; nothing was there. I kept my guard for a bit until something hit me, causing me to fall back into the forest I was leaving - seemingly crashing into a tree that damaged my wing. A similar voice came from nowhere, but there was no one there. "I heard you're helping our enemy.I knew that person looked so familiar in that damn city. I'm rather disappointed in you." I was shocked. I know that voice, but it couldn't be her. I must've been hallucinating after that hit against that tree and onto the hard ground. "Wh-What..?" I said as I sat up, groaning in pain because of my heavily damaged wing. A figure seemed to be walking toward me, but my vision was blurry. "Oh, c'mon you can't remember me? not even by my voice?" I stared at the figure that was standing in front of me, even though my vision was blurry I saw who it was and I was shocked more than before. "M-Mom..?" I heard a chuckle as I looked over at Skittles and so did she. "Tch- You still have this damn pet?" Skittles hissed as my mom kicked it to the side as I tried to reach for her. "S-Shit- Skittles!" I tried to limp over to Skittles but my mom stopped me by stepping on my back, causing me to fall back down. My wings disappeared so I can be in less pain, but I was still bleeding. I slowly start to pass out as my mom picked up skittles. Her voice became hard to hear and soon enough I passed out right on the ground.
Hours pass by and I was somewhere else. Probably somewhere far from where I was before and there was no way to get out, but that doesn't mean I won't try. I looked around, seeing Skittles in a cage - way separated from where I was. But I was also in a cage, chained up and my weapons were gone. I struggled to get them off my hands, but when I tried to use my powers on them I got shocked. I fell in pain as Skittles looked at me. "It's okay.I'm fine- shit--" I heard footsteps coming close to me, looking down at me. I can feel their stare stabbing right through me - Jesus, will you stop staring so hard? I looked up at the person and it was my mom. I got closer to her and stared at her. "What do want from me? You left me alone for years, why try to get me back now?" I said a bit angry. This was my smallest problem ever. However, I can't escape saving Kris which is blocking me from helping my best friend - which made me upset. I hit against the cage where my mom was and she backed up and smiled. "TELL ME," I said getting a bit more upset knowing I'm going to have to deal with this for a while. I stared at my mom as she finally spoke. "Do you not miss me? if not, at least your siblings?" I got quiet. I completely forgot about my siblings. I wasn't with them for years because of my mom. I left for a reason but I still feel bad for leaving my siblings behind with a horrible mother like her. "What did you do," I said in a bit of a serious tone. I wasn't paying attention to my anger to the fact my powers started to come back again. I got shocked again as I fell to the floor again. I felt so weak.I just want to get out of this situation as fast as I possibly can. I looked up at my mom as I looked back down and said nothing so I just kept quiet. "I heard you're saving your friend after what happened to the celebration. You're doing all of this just for some weak and pathetic loser who can't even keep his city together. how sad." I wanted to say something, but knowing her I know that wouldn't go anywhere. I looked away from her and just stayed quiet. "So you won't talk to your own mom? and after all these years too.." I scooted back to the back of the cage and sat there as I looked up at my mom. I hated her so much and I rather die than talk to her but I feel like if I didn't I would just stay here even longer. I let out a huge sigh and looked at my mom, I seriously did not want to talk to her at all. "What- It's not like you were a good mom when I was a child." I leaned against the cage and looked over at Skittles. My mom was at least of my worries but my cat, Skittles was more important than this. I stopped leaning against the cage and crawled over to the side I can see Skittles. She meowed to me as I put my hand on the bar. "We're getting out of here, don't worry." Skittles nodded slightly as she curled up into a ball and slept through all of this.
A few hours passed by and no one was here watching the cages. I tried to break the cuffs that were on my hands. I continued and continued to break them and they finally broke. "I need to get my sword and staff back.." Since I could use my powers, I teleported out of my cage and walked to Skittle's cage. I petted her softly and smiled slightly. "I'll get you out of here, I promise." I got up and ran out of the room, looking to find my sword and staff. A few minutes later I felt something coming towards me so I turned around, blocking a fire spell by water. I looked but no one was there, but there was only one person I knew who had that fire spell. "I should've known you told my mom where I was, Mari." Of course, Mari came out of her hiding spot and walked up to me. "I would do anything for my girlfriend!~" I felt like I was going to gag. More time to waste I guess. "Mari you aren't saving me, you're making me lose the chance to save my best friend. now get out of my way and let me get my weapons and get going." Mari stared at me and growled. I didn't have time for this so I have to make this quick. I can't kill her but I can knock her out so I can get my stuff. "Fine. If you want me to stay, you're going to have to fight me." I said as I looked up at her and smiled. Mari accepted the challenge with a single nod, starting to just cast her spells after saying yes. I stepped back, ready to attack apparently. I ran to Mari and she threw a fire spell at me as I ducked and tripped her with my leg. Water started to form around my fists, and as I was about to hit her, she hit me with another spell of hers causing me to fall back and lose focus. As Mari was going to hit me again, I went invisible and got up and sneaked behind her and hit her from the back as hard as I can. Mari fell out cold, I didn't want to do anything else but keep her off her guard so I can get my weapons back. I looked up at the door that was next to us and opened it as I walked in. As I opened it, all of my weapons were in there. Not even just my sword and staff, but all of the weapons I earned. "Ah, so that's where they all have been." Before I grabbed my sword, the door opened - It was my sister. I quickly grabbed my sword and pointed it at the door. My sister walked in with skittles and looked at me. "Ellie..?" I looked at her as I put my sword on my waistband as ran to her and hugged her. Skittles jumped onto my shoulder as I let go of Ellie and smiled. "You don't know how long I wanted to see you." Ellie smiled as well and giggled. "I wanted to see you too! Mommy told me you were coming today but I didn't know she meant like that.." I felt so bad. I wasn't there for Ellie for basically her life and I just left her with my mom. I can't take her with me now because, with the things that are happening now, I didn't want her to get hurt when I'm out saving my friend. I hugged her again and let go as I looked at her. "I promise when this is all over I will come to get you," I said in a serious tone. Ellie smiled and nodded as she handed me a flower and put it in my hair. I smiled once again. "Hey.Here, take this. Whenever you need me just push this okay?" I gave her a necklace with a button on it. She put it on and hugged me tightly then stopped. "Please be careful, Elliot.Don't die on me!" I nodded and walked to a window and smiled. "Don't do anything I would do, love you, Ellie!" I grabbed my staff, and a few more weapons and jumped out of the window as Skittles turned huge and caught me and I flew out of there.
