Switching back to Kris, he is finally released from the hospital and sent to his home. He has to keep a low background because he could still be hunted down if it was an assassination attempt. Without a hand, he tries to live his day-to-day life. But something stirred up his cup of tea, and the first attack is set to the dome.
Another week passed, and I finally got set free. The doctors told me to lay low for a while since someone out there could still be hunting for me. So I headed for gravitron immediately. I had this cloak on so that no one knew who I was. It was a long ride but I finally made it. It felt like hours, which was. I don't know why they didn't send me into the hospital in gravitron, I guess they wanted to hide me. I entered the house and immediately closed the door and locked it. I headed for the "Basement", it wasn't really a basement, Its a huge underground facility I use to make potions and such. In the underground facility, there was this chamber, It was used for prisoners and such but It's now just my little room. I walked in, sat down, and grabbed the cigarette box that was lying down on the table. So many of the Alliance members told me to quit, and I told them I would in response, guess I lied. I grabbed the lighter and lit the cigarette, then started smoking. Note that I did all this with my bad hand, I guess I needed to wait for a bit since I couldn't contact anyone. I looked over at the radio in the corner of the room, I then walked over to it and picked it up. I walked back over to the chair and sat the radio down on the table in front of me. I turned on the radio and started flipping through the channels, the channels were mainly about news, and others were podcasts about people's shitty opinions. I stopped to this song that was playing, it kept talking about some beautiful girl this singer met I guess. I suddenly remembered I had the cigarette in my mouth and grabbed it. Then turned it off and let the smoke run out of my mouth and nose. I sat back and looked around the room. The song took a slow rhythm now I guess because now the tempo lowered and her singing got quieter. She said something across the words "Her sparkling blonde hair, and pretty blue eyes, sorry I couldn't save you from yourself. . ." it took a really big twist. That piece of the lyrics made me think back to my mom, I couldn't save her when the guards took her long ago. I miss her, she never was there for me to watch me grow up. I shed a single tear and pushed the radio to the wall with my bad hand, I guess I could still control gravity from this hand because it flew up first before slamming into the wall. The radio shattered, and the singer's last words squealed from the radio, "I still love you." I walked out of the room and back up out of the facility. I decided to make myself some dinner since it's already 6:57 P.M. according to my busted watch. I walked over to the kitchen and took out the pan, then remembered, how am I supposed to cook if my good hand is lost somewhere in the depths of this world? In a moment, I got a call. I picked up my phone and looked at it. It was Jordani, King of the fire kingdom, I guess he also heard the news. I took a moment before picking it up. "Hello?" I said while staring at the pan I took out. "Hey kris, heard what happened. You alright? Need something? I'm here with Tombstone, he came over because he was worried about you too." I put the pan down and focused on what I was going to say. "Yeah, everything is cool, I guess I'm out of the hospital but I have to stay low or something, I don't care." I sounded so monotone, but then again I didn't care. I cut him off before he started his other sentence, "I'm still missing a hand though, not as painful as I'd imagine getting your hand blown to bits would be." I said. "Tombstone was keeping gravitron steady for you for the quarter month you were gone," Jordani said again, I guess he was trying to change the subject. "Thanks, it means a lot to me. hopefully, he kept the cycle of life going." I said. "What do you mean by that??! you think I break the cycle of life and death??!" Tomb said over the phone and I chuckled. "I was just messing with you, I'm fine. I'll see you guys soon." I said and finally hung up. I looked over at the clock that was on the wall, (at least that one wasn't busted). It was already 7:12. I sat down on the couch and just took some moments to myself. I haven't been here in 3 weeks, the place was a mess. Not like I could clean it anyways though. Everything was going ok, there was no noise, no interruptions, and nothing could go wrong. At least that's what I thought. There was a loud explosion and then screaming, the same thing that happened in the celebration. Thankfully I didn't lose my other hand. I quickly got up and opened the front door and looked up. Something big was at the dome, and it wanted to get in; one way or another.
