We all kept exchanging glances in silence. Alex seemed extremely upset, and a thunderstorm seemed to be approaching. "What- do we do?" I asked. "AJ, what else do you have for us?" Alex asked. "Just this..." AJ said while taking out a branch of the Tree of Life. We all stayed silent for a while. The branch seemed to be coated with many leaves, all with different colors and patterns. "I'm stumped, we need someone with even more knowledge than me to help us. Give me a moment while I contact my dad." Alex said while grabbing the branch and walking out of the room. "Sooo..." I said trying to spark a conversation. I leaned over my chair, "How did the shopping spree go, Katzen?" I said looking over to Katzen who had been sitting in the corner in silence. "Oh! Well, it went well for the most part, Sharky and I got lost like twice which sucked, but in the end, I bought many things, the surface is so much prettier than where I live." Katzen said. I chuckled. "You need to visit my city once construction has finished, I'll be glad to interest you in the variety of shops. Not just because you guys don't really go to the surface but because Tomb here.. NEVER visits me! Like when are we gonna hang out dude?" I turned over to Tomb who was enjoying the company with his son. "Listen, mate, I'm a busy man!" Tomb said chuckling. "You all need to visit me jeez, It's lonely over there. I'll be glad to show Millie around all of our kingdoms as long as all of you come with me too!" I continued looking around the room. "What, hoping to almost get assassinated again?" Elliot said and everyone snap-turned to face her. "Wow, Elliot... I expected soooo much better coming from you...." I said sarcastically and we both laughed. The others chuckled sarcastically. "Y'know... I could use a little time visiting the other kingdoms... Since Y'know, I'm also new here" Elliot said. "Yeah well remember to bring one of those fancy fans when you visit Jordi's kingdom." I told her. "Hey! My kingdom is not that hot!" Jordi replied. I grabbed the glass of water that was sitting in front of me and took a sip, but no water came down. "Huh??" I raised the cup and turned it around but the water stayed in motion. Out of nowhere, the water splashed down all over me and the whole room laughed. "Hilarious Millie, very funny," I said, brushing off my suit. Before anyone else could say anything Alex hurried in with the branch. "OK! I got it! We need to drink tea!" Alex said. "What??" Tomb asked as the rest of the room was as confused as he was. "My dad went through some books on primordial powers, and apparently one of the older generation primordials embedded one of the leaves of the tree of life into tea, and after that, they felt an immense rush of power, so we all drink the tea, and become strong enough to fight Dark Knight and the Dark Order! We have enough leaves on this branch for all the primordials here!" Alex ranted. "Shit, well guess this will become a tea party. Anyone got any princess dresses I could wear?" Tombstone said and Alex gently slapped the back of his head. "I'll get my mom to prepare us the tea, you all just sit tight for just a little longer!" He said and rushed out again. "Wow, Tomb we could've been matching princess dresses if we got a heads up.." I jokingly told him. "Ohh shut up, knowing you, you probably would wear a dress and even if both have to wear one I would look more stunning than your cyborg ass," He said and I laughed. Katzen elbowed Tomb, "Language! There's a kid in here!" He said in an angry tone. "Sorry dear-" Tombstone replied. I laughed at him and he gave me a cold look, secretly flipping me off only visible from where I was sitting. "Shouldn't we be more worried about this??" Elliot asked. "Well, we can't really do anything like this, we're going to have to wait it out anyways. It's good to let out a few laughs before we start getting into the action." I responded. "OH! You guys would not believe what I witnessed down in the ball..." I said in a suspenseful way. "Spill it out!" Jordi said. "I saw Alex... with someone! Dancing!!!" I said and got closer to the table. "I think mister lightning is in loveeee.." I whispered. "But who knows? Does Millie care to tell us a little bit about your past? How were your growing up years?" I asked her to quickly change the topic and she looked around, "Well... I spent most of my time reading books about the primordials, I also spent my time learning martial arts as well as controlling my powers. I always dreamed of seeing the surface but... Not like this.." She said and looked away shyly. "You have nothing to fear! We'll get this place looking better in no time!" Jordi said, Millie smiled softly.

.

After some awkward silence, Alex scurried into the room holding a big tray full of small little teacups. "Hey, guys! They're done there are 6 cups here sorry I don't think we can give this to Katzen or Sharky Since it's from the Tree of Life, it could only be handled by a true primordial." He continued. "It's alright, we don't mind," Katzen replied. Alex started handing out the teacups, "Anyone got any biscuits?" Tombstone joked. The room chuckled as Alex set out the last teacup before sitting down on his chair. "I don't know if this tea will do anything, but books my father has read state otherwise, I hope this is that otherwise, or else we'll need much more than just us." Alex let out before raising his little teacup. "Damm, so if this doesn't work our future isn't guaranteed?" Tombstone said. "That's kind of a bummer," I added. "I mean, do we have any other ideas?" Jordani said worryingly. Alex stayed quiet. "If this doesn't work, then we'll need to be ready to risk it all." Alex finalized. I looked over to Elliot and she looked over to me. We nodded to each other and raised our teacups, the others following along. "This is really suspenseful for a little cup of tea," Tombstone said. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "Whatever, to us?" The others looked at each other, knowing this would be our only plan, and going from here. "To us." They all replied. After ending our staring contest with each other, we all took our sips.
