DEJA VU
Purple Hyacinth | Chapter 93

"Dokja-ssi, are you serious?!" Jung Heewon exclaimed as she watched Yoo Jonghyuk and (Y/n) walking away from them.

"What?" He asked, stroking Mr.Smile's fur as he watches the two silently walking.

"Why?! Why did you let those two talk alone??" She asked, in almost an ear-shattering shriek.

"I don't see the problem?"

"Bullshit. You know those two have something going on— okay, maybe not but— but the revelation! Or whatever and (Y/n)-ssi..."

"What revelation?" Yoo Sangah asked, not knowing what Jung Heewon was talking about.

"A book about the future, supposedly. And supposedly, (Y/n)-ssi is supposed to be in love with Yoo Jonghyuk."

Yoo Sangah has spat her drink on the ground, coughing like she has covid.

"W-What?!"

"Who is mom talking to?" Kenji asked no one in particular.

"That's (Y/n)-ssi's friend..." Lee Hyunsung muttered, trying to keep Sardines from running away from his grasp.

Lee Sungkook and Jung Minseob were watching the two retreating figures with practically glowing eyes. Witnessing the two interacting with each other with their own eyes.

They do look good together— but (Y/n) looks happy with Kim Dokja. And (Y/n) (L/n) hasn't had that sort of happiness in the novel, so that fascination hadn't last long.

Lee Hyunsung choked on air, "Since when did we have a tent in Chungmuro?"

"A tent?!" Jung Heewon shrieked.

"Some girl named Kachi put it there... all by herself— and then she left..." Yoo Sangah muttered.

"Jesus fucking Chri—" Jung Heewon dramatically falls off her seat and pretended to pass out.

"W-What's wrong?" Yoo Sangah asked Lee Hyunsung, nervously laughing.

"I don't think I should tell you..."

Kim Dokja gripped on his thigh tightly, if the conversation went on much longer, anxiety will kill him.

He looked down at the feline staring blankly at him as he meows.

'Calm down, you fool. They aren't going to fuck. (Y/n) wouldn't cheat on you.'

He breathes out a sigh, yes, (Y/n) isn't that kind of person. She hates cheaters because of her father...

'Or would she?'

Mr.Smile grinned as Kim Dokja gave him a surprised expression.

'Well, I mean... she did admit that she thinks she's in love with him. Artificially, she said. She isn't sure. But now...'

Kim Dokja swallowed the lump in his throat, waiting for Mr.Smile to finish what he was saying.

'I'm just messing with you, don't be so paranoid.'

He once again breathes out a sigh of reli—

'Or am I?'

He sucked in a sharp breath, deciding to not listen to the cat anymore who is clearly messing with him.

"Since when did Chungmuro have a tent?" (Y/n) asked.

"Someone named Kachi set it up, and then she left."
