Vineet welcomed all the guests, he looks at the board "Manvi weds Deep" with a wide smile on his face.
Sharda comes to him and asked "Vineet.. Baarat kaha rah gayi hai?? Mehmaano ke jaane se pehle varmala ho jaaye toh acha rehta hai"
"Haan.. bas aati hi hogi kaki! Aap zara khane ka dekh lena udhar" Vineet said.
"Wo toh main dekh lungi.. Waise manvi bahut hi pyaari lag rahi hai tumne dekha usko?" She asked.
He refused "thik se baithke baat karne ka tak mauka nahi mila hai itne din se.. Bas abhi jaake dekh lunga" he said
"Samajhti hi hun main.. Beti ki shaadi karna sabse badi zimmedari hoti hai aur kanyadaan karna toh saubhagya.. " Sharda spoke and moves towards the food area.
Vineet steps towards the bride's room but stops with the phone call. He takes out his phone from his pocket and looks at the caller ID "Ankush". He was bewildered why he is calling at this time.
He answers the phone "Ankushji.. Kaha rah gayi baarat? Yahan sab intezar kar rahe hai" he said.
Ankush spoke "Vineetji.. Humne thodi si achai dikhayi hamari toh ye matlab nahi aap humhe kuch bhi nahi denge"
Vineet expressions changed and he got tensed "matlab?" he asked.
"Matlab ki lena aur dena! 20 lakh ka intezam kar dijiye hum baarat leke turant pahuch jayenge" Ankush replies with a smile on his face.
Vineet was in disbelief, he asked "Aap iss waqt dahej ki maang kar rahe hai? Uss din toh.."
"Samdhiji.. Apne liye nahi! Kal aapki beti ghar aayegi aur rishtedar padosi sawal karenge ki kya laayi ho apne mayke se? Hum kya kahenge? Sunna toh aapki beti ko hi padega na.. Samaaj aur duniya dari ka khayal toh rakhna hi padta hai.." Ankush declares leaving Vineet completely still at his place.
"Aapki baat samajh raha hun main! Lekin main itni jaldi itne paison ka intezam nahi kar paunga.." Vineet said with the hope he understands his situation.
"Toh phir baarat bhi aapke dwar pe nahi aayegi.." He said.
The call ends and Vineet takes his steps backwards.
He looks around, the guests were waiting for the wedding to happen. Inside his daughter was waiting as a bride while Ruhana was excited about her daughter's big day. He sighed "aise achanak 20 lakh kaha se laau?"
He walks towards Manvi's room and sees her with Ruhana. She was the happiest person today and he can't let that happiness fade away. People will start to taunt and disrespect her which he can't let happen for even a minute.
His trance was broken by Manvi's call. She pulls him for the photoshoot "papa finally aapko thodi fursat mili ab ache se clicks karle mere saath" she said
Vineet smiled fakely and stands beside her for the photoshoot. Ruhana notices his changed behaviour and was trying to understand what is worrying him.
Vineet turns towards her and asked "Deep tujhe pasand toh hai na?"
"Haan papa.. Wo aapki tarah hai bilkul! Mujhe vishwas hai wo mera usi tarah khayal rakhega jaise aap mumma ka rakhte ho, unse pyaar karte ho" She said.
Vineet caressed her head and leaves the place in a hurry. He calls Chintu and he picks up the phone "haan chachu almirah mein 5 lakh ruppee hai!" he said.
"Thik hai tum paise leke mandap pe aa jao aur suno kisiko batana mat iske baare mein" Vineet spoke.
"Thik hai.." he ends the call.
Here, the baarat was dancing on the streets. Deep sighed deeply "ye family itna delay kar rahe hai waha sab raha dekh rahe honge"
He shouts "papa..."
