Aarav's Home
Aarav had been working on the case files and it was 7 pm. He sighed deeply "7 baj gaye.. Kaki aaj khane mein kya banaya hai?" he shouted
He didn't get any response and realised today she is on leave. "Are aaj toh kaki aayi hi nahi hai arghh.. Bahut bhook lagi hai mujhe toh ek kaam karta hun bahar se mangwa leta hun" he thought.
He searched for his phone but couldn't find it anywhere. He searched between the files sack and it was underneath. He picked it up and ordered food for himself.
He moved towards the hall and relaxed on the couch. A while later, the doorbell rang he got up and walked to the main door. He opened it and said "jaldi se khana do bahut bhook lagi hai mujhe.." he was busy with his phone so didn't notice the person.
The person cleared his throat, Aarav looked up and bit his tongue out "Sorry.. Sir mam aap log aayie na" he stepped aside giving them the way to enter the house.
They entered inside and Aarav closed the door. He looked around and the house was in a great mess. He picked up his clothes from the couch and placed them in the laundry basket "sorry.. Wo aaj kaki aayi nahi toh ghar thoda mess hai"
"Lag bhi raha hai koi baat nahi" Vineet said and sat down on the couch along with Ruhana and Manvi.
"Uss din court ke baad toh tum dekhe hi nahi" Ruhana said
"Ji wo bas cases ye sab acha hua aap log aa gaye warna main kal aane hi waala tha" Aarav spoke and they glanced at him in confusion.
"Main aata hun do minute" he told and rushed to his office.
He returns in a while, he approaches Manvi and she looked up at him. He forwards her a file "ye hai divorce papers.."
Manvi gets tears in her eyes. She held them, she opened them and there was a court stamp on them. A takes a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment. She looked up at him and smiled "Thank you.. For everything"
"Ye mera farz tha" he said, he turned and walked to Vineet.
He forwards him an envelop "maine kaha tha na sir sab kuch wapas lunga unn logo se yeh hai dowry mein diye hue paiso ka check aur compensation amount bhi hai isme"
Vineet held it, he opened it and indeed it was the amount. Aarav then forwarded a small bag to Ruhana "Aur mam ye aapki beti ka stree dhan hai jo aapne use shaadi pe diya tha.."
Ruhana looked at the jewellery "Aarav ye sab humhe nahi chahiye tha.." she said
"Lekin ye sab aapka hai na! Unn logo pe unka koi haq nahi tha.." Aarav replied
"Thank you... ye sab tumne kaise kiya pata nahi par jo tumne kiya hai na wo har koi nahi karta hai" Vineet thanked him
"Lawyer hun main Sir ye mera kaam hai aap thank you kahkar mujhe sharminda mat kijiye" Aarav smiled in return.
"aur haan uss din ki badtameezi ke liye maafi chahta hun agar wo sab nahi karta toh.." he apologized.
"toh yeh sach kah hi nahi paati.. tumne jab case chodne ki baat ki thi mujhe tab bhi samajh aa gaya tha" Vineet replied
Aarav smiled "ji.. kabhi kabhi mujhe thoda apna gussa dikhana padta hai I am again.."
"don't be! and thank you tumne wo sab kiya mannu apni chupi tod paayi aur sach kah saki" Ruhana said
"aap mujhe thank you mat kahiye.. main roj aise cases ladta hun toh jaanta hun kaise handle karna hai sab.." he replied softly.
"Lawyer ho par do saal se ek bhi hearing ya process ke liye tumne ek paisa nahi liya.. Tum
