Ruhana and Vineet returned home with heavy hearts and the sorrow of their daughter being sent to another home. There was complete silence in the house which they aren't habitual of, Vineet heads towards Manvi's room.
He glanced at the wall towards his right and there were family pictures hanging. He moved closer and caressed the big portrait of his daughter with tears brimming down his eyes. It has been just a few hours, he is missing her. How will he spend his whole life without her?
Ruhana enters in and keeps her hand on his shoulder. He smiles and says "kuch hi pal hue hai aur itna yaad aa rahi hai mannu.. Pata nahi ab kaise sari umar kategi uske bina.."
"Aadat ki baat hai Vineet... chut hi jayegi!" Ruhana replies.
He turns to her and refuses "nahi.. Aadat toh chut jayegi lekin jo attachment hai beti se wo kabhi nahi chutega.. Door rahegi lekin fikar har pal lagi rahegi mujhe! Waha pata nahi kaise sambhalegi? Yahan toh tumhari daant se bachane ke liye main tha waha kaun hoga?" he asked.
"Vineet.. Bharosa rakho apni beti pe! Sab kar legi aur kaunsa saat samundar paar gayi hai hamari mannu? Train pakadke 5 station door hi toh hai uska sasural.." Ruhana said.
"Jaanta hun! Par uski kami toh hamesha khalti rahegi na iss ghar ko? Subah subah uska awaaz dena papa jaldi chalo der ho rahi hai.. Shyam ko aap mujhe pick kar lena station pe.. Papa ye papa wo.." he exclaims while Ruhana smiles recalling the moments.
"Ab yahi yaadein hai hamare paas.. Aur phir pag phere ki rasam ke liye toh aayegi na? Tab jee bharke usse baatein kar lena.." Ruhana spoke lightlying caressing his cheeks.
"Kya hai Ruu? Tumhe apni beti ko yaad nahi aa rahi hai kya??" He asked annoyed.
"Aa rahi hai Vineet.. Main bhi toh apna ghar chodke tumhare ghar aayi thi!! Tumne mujhe sambhala tha aur kaha tha sirf ghar se door aayi hun main unke dil se nahi.." Ruhana reminds him of his own words.
"Haa.. kaha tha maine aur wada bhi nibhaya har hafte tumhe tumhare mayke leke jaata tha main" Vineet said.
Ruhana smiles and says "aur mannu ne kya kaha tha? Deep tumhari tarah hai bilkul wo bhi hamari mannu ko bhejega na apne mayke"
Vineet thought for a moment.. He said "Suno.. mannu ko wo 20 lakh waali baat mat batana"
"Nahi bataungi.. Lekin kya humne sahi kiya? Unke dabaav mein aake 20 lakh de diye? Kal agar unhe aur maang ki toh?" she questions.
"Aisa nhi hoga Ruu.. lalchi hote toh kya shaadi ki pehli rasam se hi na maang karte?" He asked.
"Haan baat toh sahi hai tumhari..lekin" Ruhana said.
He said "Shaadi ho gayi hai Ruu.. itna mat socho sab acha hi hoga" She smiled hearing him.
"Aaj iss room mein soyenge hum.." He said.
"Thik hai pari ke papa! Aap jaise kahenge hum waisa karenge lekin pehle aap change kar lijiye!" Ruhana spoke, Vineet agrees and goes to the room to change.
She just hoped her fears don't come true. She picks up her phone and was about to text Manvi "nahi thak gayi hogi kal baat kar lungi.." she thought.
Deep's Home
Manvi and Deep were standing at the door. Yamini came and did the Aarti while Arohi placed the Rice kalash in front of Manvi.
"Lejiye bhabhi ab jaldi se grah pravesh kijiye" She said with excitement.
Manvi smiled and kicked the Rice kalash, she lifts her lehenga a bit and places her feet into the alta thal. She then walks into the hall and stops in front of the temple. She lights the diya and prays the God "bhagwaan nayi shuruwat karne jaa rahi hun! Sab thik rakhna aur haan mumma papa ka bhi khayal rakhna"
