The next morning, Manvi gets up and goes to the bathroom. She stands under the water and recalls last night's incident. She saw her husband's real face, which was unexpected for her. This is not what marriage her parents had defined for her. She grew up watching her parents with immense love between them. Ruhana's parents selected Vineet for her and it was a wise decision. She dreamt of marriage being filled with love, respect, and understanding not this nightmare.
This is how her husband respects her, she is a bloody educated woman but unfortunately, all that matters is dowry for him and his family. She turns off the tab and then applies ointment on her wounds by herself. She drops down on the floor and cries...
"Mannu.. Tere papa mujhse naraz hote hai gussa bhi karte hai lekin kabhi haath nahi uthate mujhpe Deep ko jab pehli baar dekha tha na toh tere papa ko dekha tha maine usme"
"Shaadi toh ek khubsurat rishta hota hai jise nibhane ke liye kuch samjhote karne padte hai mannu..."
"Yahan toh tere papa sun lenge teri lekin sasural mein koi nahi sunne waala hai!"
She heard Yamini's voice. She wears her dress and moves out of the bathroom. She came to the kitchen and Yamini taunted "uth kahi maharani..."
Manvi was feeling so disgusted, aren't they ashamed of what they did with her yesterday?
She sighed deeply, Yamini said "Aaj Arohi ko dekhne ladke waale aa rahe hai! Toh apne zara ye nishaan chupa lo makeup se samjhi!"
"Kyun? Unhe bhi toh pata chalna chahiye na aap log kitne laalchi ho.. Kaise apni bahu pe atyachar karte ho" Manvi replied angrily.
Yamini was shocked hearing her words, she slaps her "kal ki maar bhool gayi jo ab bhi zuban khul rahi hai teri... Deep ko phone laga Arohi zara" she said.
Manvi didn't want to bear his anger and hardcore torture once again "nahi..rukiye main karti hun" she said helplessly.
Yamini smiles and Manvi goes back to the room. She covers those marks with make-up and wraps the saree in such a way that her body marks aren't visible to anyone. She hears the sounds of a few guests, moves out, and takes blessings from them.
"Ye hai meri bahu Manvi.." Yamini introduces with all the love.
"Bahut hi sundar aur sanskari hai aapki bahu.." the boy's mother said.
"Ji.. beta chai nashta leke aao inke liye" Yamini said in a motherly tone.
Manvi goes to the kitchen and prepares the tea. She was about to take it out but Arohi takes it from her hand. She goes and places it on the table.
Manvi sees everything from the kitchen and thought "aise hi natak inn logo ne mere ghar mein kiya tha... mumma papa ko kya hi dosh dena.."
Deep returns from the office early, he sits and meets the family. Deep said "Dekhiye meri behen BSc ke final year mein hai.. Abhi hum sagai hi kar paayenge.."
"Koi baat nahi hai beta.. Jab padhai ho jayegi toh shaadi kar denge" the mother said.
"Aur len den?" he asked.
"Humhe toh bas aapki beti chahiye.. Dahej mein hum vishwas nahi rakhte hai" the mother spoke.
Manvi comes from the kitchen and smiles "maafi chahti hun.. Lekin baad mein kahi aisa na ho.. Aap log baarat ko rokke mere pati ko kahe... 20 lakh ka intezam karo phir hi baarat aayegi.. Tab achanak kaise hoga??" she asked.
Deep stared at her angrily but couldn't react much.
"Ye kya kah rahi ho tum? Mera beta ijzat ki roti kamata hai.. Bhagwan ki dua se sab hai hamare paas.." the mother said.
