Lost Ones Pt.4

Jalen POV

I was sitting at the side of Moody's hospital bed like i been doing for the past 2 days.

The nurse came in to check her vital and the baby heartbeat. She left back out and brought the doctor in. He checked the baby heartbeat and by the look on his face i knew something was wrong.

"Im sorry, but the baby has no heartbeat." He said.

I just gave him a head nod and he walked out the door.

Jazmine POV

Next Day

I woke up and felt someone holding my hand. It was Jalen.

I tapped him and he jumped.

"Hey baby." He said with a smile on his face.

"My baby.? Is my baby ok.?" I asked.

He put his head down and at that moment i knew.

I cried silently to myself.

Jalen POV

I knew she would be upset after finding out the baby didnt make it.

After a few moments of silence i decided to talk.

"You okay Moody.?

"I lost our baby."

"Im sorry baby."

"I lost our baby."she replied with sadness in her voice

"Its my fault." I said getting a lump in my throat

"Its not." She said calmly

"IT IS MAN.!ITS MY FAULT YOU STRESSED OUT, ITS MY FAULT YOU IN THIS HOSPITAL BED, ITS MY FAULT YOU LOST THE BABY, ITS MY FUCKING FAULT MAN. AND I GOTTA LIVE MY LIFE KNOWING THAT." I said crying.

"Look at me." She said while softly cupping my face in her hand and looking into my eyes.

"Its not your fault ok. Shit happens for a reason. You were right. Its not the right time baby."

"Im sorry."

"Its ok baby."

She leaned in and kissed me softly. After i crawled into bed with her and fell asleep
