Chapter 52

After meeting the Tiger bandits, we didn't stop working. We didn't waste any remaining hours just to sit around. It also became our bonding, investigating others I mean.

I didn't expect it would be this fun to do these things with them.

Sadly, Ayer and Keith were absent today since they're both busy with Feliz Malls. Ayer said he wants to start a BMnaire in the top floors of these malls, especially those who have open top floors.

"Echo, I will have an announcement later after lunch break." Miss Corpuz fixed the stack of papers on her table.

"Miss naman, sige na oh, para namang hindi ka nakikikain sa pizza namin. Sabihin mo na," Pangungulit ni Claud at lumapit pa talaga sila ni Ely sa harapan.

"We need to wait for Ayer and Keith, this will be important." She looked up to meet the eye of everyone.

"Miss, bakit ang hirap ng test pala ngayon?" Tanong ni Blanca.

"They'll make it harder and harder, since everyone in Echo is aiming higher. They need to raise the difficulty level to remove you from the ranks." She gave us a smile. "It's proof that they're scared of you, guys. Keep it up."

"Sabi na talaga eh, rawr rawr tayo eh," Natatawang dagdag ni Deborah sa harapan.

"Graig, ba't ka namumula?" Rinig ko bulong ni Earl sa likuran ko.

"I'll excuse myself first, Echos" Miss Corpuz waved her hand carrying all the papers.

But the papers fell in front.

"Hala miss, tulungan na kita-" Ely stepped closer to Miss Corpuz but she also fell.

"Ely!" Iris stood up from her seat to check them both with Rave.

Thankfully Claud catched her.

Tumayo na rin ako kasabay ni Ella nang makitang hindi pa tumatayo ang dalawa sa sahig.

When we saw them, Claud was lying on the floor and Ely was on top of him. They're staring at each other's faces. They were too stunned to move at this moment.

Ni kahit kami ay napahinto sa nakita namin.

"A-Ano ba naman 'yan! Hindi ka ba marunong sumalo?" Ely got up with a blushed face.

"B-Bakit ko kasalanan? Kasalanan ko bang tanga ka? Maglalakad na lang eh," Claud also fired back and tried to stand up with a red face.

"Ikaw may kasalanan! Hindi mo ko sinalo ng maayos!

"Buti nga sinalo pa kita eh!"

We all watched them annoy each other. I glanced at Deborah from the sides picking up the paper.

"Thank you papers!" Sigaw niya habang tinaas ang papel.

The two were confused but we all laughed with Miss Corpuz.

I also knelt down to pick the remaining papers while the two are still shouting at each other. I gave Miss Corpuz the papers she needs.

"Ang mga papel pa yata na 'to ang magiging rason." Bulong niya bago niya kuhain ang papel sa'kin.

I smiled. "It triggers," We both laughed before she exited the room.

"Let's eat," Twilla also opened the door. Katabi niya si Iris na pinapakalma si Ely. She's still blushing hard.

"Thank God, Ayer is not here." Blanca whispered beside me.

I nodded. "I know right," I can't even imagine how loud our room will be.

"Hindi siya matatapos kaka-asar sa dalawa na 'to kung nandito 'yon." She picked up her wallet. "Though, namimiss ko siya kaya sana pauwi na sila."

"Yeah, me too-" I was cutted off when I felt my phone vibrate on my hand. I checked its screen and saw Keith's name on my notification.
