Chapter 75

NICCOLO POV

We all packed our things.

We all went down.

We all kept these things hidden.

We decided this.

I agreed to this.

But the school lied to me.

"This is not what you said!" I shouted. I don't fucking care if all the Alphas look at me. "Call. Them. ASAP." I grabbed the school's staff by his collar.

"S-Sorry but Mr. Lim ordered this," mahina niyang tanong at nag iwas ng tingen.

Yeah, right. This is the plan. This is their goal for this vacation thing. They want to send Echo away, away from their responsibilities and company. They want to use this to strike on the companies outside.

And yes, they succeeded. OLM Tech, Azzi, BMnaire, and Anaudia are already facing trials this week.

But this is not part of the plan. To leave Echo in the middle of the mountain, not aware of the situation. There will be a typhoon coming, I heard it will landfall here.

It's not deadly but still...it's a typhoon.

"Sa tingin mo ba may pake pa 'ko don?" Iritado ko ng tanong.

"Come on, bro, stop this. Just follow your father." Tristan tried to hold me and knocked me into my senses.

"How could I follow him?!" I roared in anger. "What if someone died from Echo? What if something happened to them?!" I could feel my veins slowly showing. "The guilt won't let me sleep, man!"

"But bro.." ulit pa niya. "Wala tayong magagawa," bumagsak parehas ang balikat niya.

And at this moment, lightning flashed that made us close our eyes. Sumunod ang malakas na pagkulog at matinis na tili ng mga babae.

I looked around and found Alpha hurrying inside the bus. Hinihila na rin ako ni Tristan at Kurt paakyat ng bus but someone caught my eye...

"Niccolo!" She shouted. I didn't expect her to have this kind of voice. There was confusion but all I could feel was her anger. I knew she's dead serious this time.

The boys stopped pulling me.

"What is the meaning of this!" Sa lakas ng boses niya, hindi na ito naging tanong. "Tell me. What is this, Niccolo!"

"I didn't expect to find you here, Aiby." A small smile creeped into my lips.

I saw Emil Graig and Amaya Twilla at her back, looking confused. Panay linga nila sa paligid at nagtagal ang tingin sa mga bus ng ibang section.

"I also didn't expect to find you guys here," diin na sagot ni Aiby.

She tried to walk towards me but the school staff stopped her. They held her arms and tried to pull her away from me. Ganoon din ang ginawa ng ibang staff kila Graig.

"If you want to leave, be here before 30 minutes." I heard the school staff. Hindi ko maitago ang tawa ng marinig 'yon. 30 minutes? Kahit yata tumakbo ako ay hindi sapat 'yon.
